A friend referred my wife & I to Sushi Planet in Moorpark saying this place had such amazing food. As we found out she was correct. We started with the Garlic Edamame appetizer and I could easily say this was the best Edamame I’d ever tasted by far due to the garlic seasoning. We also had the seasoned calamari rings and loved the sauce that it come with. From there we had the beautiful presented fresh oysters, Black Snapper Sushi, the Albacore Delight Roll and Sushi combination plate. We found that all the seafood was very fresh and some of the best in Sourthern CA. The atmosphere was clean. The staff and owner were attentive and very pleasant. The rest of the menu looked delightful with so many choices so we can’t wait until we return.

Would give them 0 if possible. Worst service ever experienced. Fine it was New Year's Day but their website said they were open. Tried online ordering but was offline and asked you come in to eat. Called to place a to go order and woman said to hold on and set phone down so I could listen to gossip for over 10 minutes before they hung up on me! So I drove to place order and stood in entrance for over 10 minutes before walking out without so much as a hello or I am sorry. And they claimed they were busy with 2 people at sushi bar and several empty tables(dirty of course). This place used to be very good but I will longer patronize them. Better to to to Hai Sushi in Simi Valley. They are friendly at least. Hire more staff or scale back so you're not trying to do too much with too few people. Only hope food handling and dishwashing aren't as taxed at front staff!! Food poisoning for sure!!

Absolutely the worse sushi and service I've ever had . Will never go here again. Tuna tasted like it was as about to turn. Eel sauce was watered down. Roll was small and had little spicy tuna in it. Just horrible.

Super clean inside and cute decor. Hidden gem really good sushi and food here. Not happy about the 10% service fee! Wtf that's more than taxes.. that's my only complaint here. We will be back though the server was nice

Another decent sushi spot in Moorpark...a BONUS! They have a lunch special menu where the rolls are only $9.95. Service is great and rolls are also good. Just have to see for yourself!
Service was HORRIBLE. They have a sign saying they are short staffed but not once did we have someone come around to our table to check on us. We sat there for 10mins looking around for someone to come to our table after we were done eating. It wasn't busy at all by the way. Finally lady came and we asked for the check and a box and 7-10mins went by and nothing she didn't even come to our table and forgot about us!!! I had to get up myself to go to the front to ask for the check and a box and stood there until I got it. She was at register processing other peoples checks. I'm sure she could worry about people who are actually sitting in her restaurant and not peoples signed checks who have already paid which I found ridiculous. I took check back to our table and we sat there waiting for someone to collect it. Still the same we sat there with no service. We just got up and went to the front to pay. Lady said are you all done and my husband said no you haven't even charged us for our food. Sushi is ok/good but the service is horrible they also charge a 10% fee on top of bill for dine in for the staff as basically a tip I believe. What tip?!? Not once did we get checked on and when we asked for the check the lady forgot.

And sadly last night we went there for dinner and there was hardly anyone there and the service was horrible. Yes I know they have signs posted everywhere that they are low staffed right now and I'm a very patient person but last night was bad. I'm not sure if I will come back.
