Went here on a whim, this is a little hidden gem. I called to place an order. I had no idea of the menu the young lady was extremely nice and helpful. I ordered the red snapper, shrimp, and oyster meal plus 10 jumbo shrimp with hush puppies and fries. We received 3 trays of food. Me and my sister split it. Everything was crisp but still moist. We will be back. And the young lady was even nicer in the restaurant. It's small inside , only a few tables but its nice.

It was obvious they had not changed the grease. If you are a fried fish eater, you know how important this is and how easy it is to know when it hasn’t been done. The place is cramped and service is slow. Slow service maybe due to the fish being fried fresh. I ordered the catfish and the fish was cut into small strips and over cooked. The oysters had a lingering bad after taste. As you all know fried fish is too expensive to get it wrong, I’m not going back.

I had not been to this fish restaurant since 2022. The owner used be there and was always cordial with me. I’ve been satisfied with previous orders. Today I ordered the whiting fish, fries and collard greens. It was horrible. The fish was not fresh. It looked bad and tasted bad. It was way over cooked. Whiting fish is supposed to have a certain texture and oh by the way it should be basically WHITE inside not brown. The fries did not taste fresh however the collard greens were ok. Needless to say I will not return. If I could give it a “0” star that would be too kind. My friends will also pass on going to this so called fish restaurant. I hope this restaurant raise their standards.
The food was pretty good. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't hot or tarter sauce that just came with it. They wanted to charge 50 cents for that. It should be included.
