Great Mexican food. Hybrid service where you order at the counter and servers bring your food and drinks to your table. The service was very fast and the food was very good. I had the steak fajitas and I would go with chicken next time as the beef was thin and dry but all of our other dishes were excellent. They have a large variety of soft drinks and juices that were really tasty. Bar drinks were very good too.

BEST green salsa in moreno valley so far! I am a salsa girlie and their salsa bar is FIRE. 3 red salsas 3 green and all delicious! Plus tons of veggies and toppings! The chunky green is the perfect level spicy and I always fill up on that before I can even get to my food. Shrimp cocktail is delicious and fresh. Big burritos and good kids menu. Also the mango margaritas with fresh fruit are fire! It's not like authentic homemade tortillas and whatnot but for a cute little chain it's my favorite !!

Came in for the menudo on Sunday morning after some Saturday night shenanigans. The menudo was hot, flavorful and clean.

Not only did they mess up my order, I asked for no beans, double rice...but when I told her I ordered double rice, she took my plate and I had to wait 15 more minutes to get my food...my husband had already finished his food more than halfway through...ingot the Chile Verde plate which was so overly salted and not a good taste at all....my husband got the steak fajita plate....and good luck with the chips & salsa bar, label stated mild salsa...all the green, red and other salsas that were there were so spicy tgat we couldn't even enjoy the chips & salsa while we waited for our food. I don't recommend this place, and the prices are also outrageous...food isn't worth the money....for that kind of money, I'd rather eat at Golden Corral where i have have a bunch of variety...rather than at Jose's...which cost the same price as a buffet restaurant for 2 people...never again Jose's never again

There is something rustic & nostalgic about Jose's Mexican food at the same time you will also find a uniqueness in the flavors created here. Full disclosure: I do food photography for Jose's Mexican Food & I've visited all of them! You may think my review is biased. Understand that even though I have an estimated 200 customers around the country, I have only taken the time to write reviews for a select few on Yelp...few move me to praise. In my line of work as a food photographer it is natural that I would have a hands on experience & that I try most, if not all, menu items. I can honestly say that each of Jose's locations has the highest level of cleanliness. In fact, my family eats here & we are not from the Riverside area. Food wise, you start with the unlimited chips & salsa bar. They offer a variety of delicious salas! The tacos are the best & you have many meat options. The fajitas are topped with a generous dollop of their chipotle flavored cream. They grill their carne asada over an open flame & to give it a personal flare, they brush the meat with some type of tomato-based salsa that elevates the flavor. The pinto beans are simply perfection. The greatest of Jose's secrets is that all of their Margaritas are super delicious and are made with 100% Tequila! You won't find any agave wine here! I've also come to know their staff & everyone is welcoming. While speaking to shift management, I've come to learn that some of the employees, actually a lot of their employees, have been with Jose's for decades! They all said the same thing again & again... the ownership is keen on integrity. They treat staff like family & provide the community an authentic home-cooked meal.
