The service was terrible and they charge %18 tip for that same terrible service and below average food!We ordered for the AYCE sushi. We ordered a lobstapeño roll, got a regular lobster roll. We ordered miso soups, never arrived. Our menu was taken away after the second round, wasn’t given an explanation as to why.Then, at the end, we were charged an %18 gratuity. I asked why and the server said they charge that for every table getting the AYCE. I didn’t see that written anywhere! It was only written that they charge large parties of 7 or more the %18 gratuity. I checked the signage on the front of the store - nothing about an %18 charge, only for large parties.I’m never coming back here and I don’t recommend anyone to even try it out. This place doesn’t deserve to be in business if they’re intentionally ripping people off and providing a terrible service/experience.

Great food. My salmon sashimi was served at the perfect temperature. It melted in mouth. Great quality. The service was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places. Try the Jessica roll. The service was also top notch. Jared took care of us and was very attentive. Awesome place. One last thing they have best spicy tuna roll I've ever had. And one one last thing get the fried ice creme... wow so good.
My sister and I tried the AYCE lunch for $30 and both of us think that THE PRICE IS WORTH IT ? I'm not into the special rolls so I'm judging based on nigiri sushi and hand rolls, and it is by far the MOST GENEROUS FISH portions in sushi that I've come across unless I count the upscale places in LA, Seattle, and Las Vegas. Just look at the pictures especially the close-up: fish-to-rice ratio is about 3:1 which is how it's supposed to be.Service was fast and nice. Sushi quality is also very good. We had scallops and salmon skin hand rolls, salmon, albacore, ono, yellowtail nigiri sushis, edamame, and soup. ALL ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!There are caveats and things I didn't like, such as• lack of seared sushi options (I recommend Lemon Tree in Alessandro for seared salmon),• 18% gratuity is included in bill (tip/gratuity should never be compulsory IMO unless you're a big group and is always based on your perception of service)• everyone in your table has to eat AYCE which I get but I hope they'll have some exceptions with elderly so I can sit with my parents when I bring them.Nonetheless, I will definitely come back again! Hopefully, price will remain steady.

Idk what the bad reviews are yappin about but I love this place. I’ve personally always had appetizers before the main course, I’ve never had them served after the main course. I’ve always been treated nicely/kind. One time I asked for soju and they never brought it but meh I think it was a sign to not drink anyways lol. The vibes in here are nice and the servers are so attentive. There is no added gratuity, they let you add as much as you want to add. The food is yummy. Everything good :)

The worst food ever, my husband and I have eaten there for years. I ordered the crunchy caterpillar roll. The avocado was not fresh and mushy, it went in the trash. I called the restaurant and was told that I could not have a refund for this food. I also thought there was soft shelled crab in it instead it was shrimp. My husband ordered the baked lobster roll and he got a tiger roll instead which also went in the trash

Extremely rude is an understatement. We were almost charged extra items and they didn’t want to budge to remove. Trying to speak however spoken over. We will never support a business that’s talked to their customers the way they did to us especially when they force a gratuity on to of that. I guess since it’s forced customer service isn’t expected. Go to Miguel’s sushi or take a trip to Riverside and go to Asahi. Both of those appreciate their customers.
