Food is not the best! The service has extremely bad. Right as i got there I saw a worker picking his nose and has really greasy hair. GROSS! There was two guys who were being very rude to me and kept giving me attitude and messing around which is HIGHLY unprofessional. THIS PLACE ALSO HAS BUGS!!!!!! I saw many little creatures walking around in this place. This is extremely gross and unclean. They should hire more responsible people who aren't rude, don't mess around in a work environment, and are kind. This was my very first and LAST time going because this was highly unprofessional from their part and food was bad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Loves this Erik’s . As I quit using the one in Gilroy since ridiculously they got my order wrong for literally years. After about two years I finally tactfully mentioned it to the cashier. And thought it would help if I wrote my order on a slip of paper but that didn’t help. And I always was respectful and polite and gave a good tip but the Little guy who make sandwiches still got my order wrong . Everyone was very nice. Anyway I still don’t know why but I was told the Gilroy one had this reputation so it wasn’t just me. So I happily now go to Morgan Hill for my delicious Erik’s Deli sandwiches etc. ?

First impression: Dark, dingy and dirty! What a sad-looking Erik’s! This place needs a major remodel! It looks so outdated and unkempt! The restroom had ants crawling inside the toilet and out! You could tell no one had checked it in a while with the garbage overflowing! The fountain drinks and flatware area was dirty and icky! The fountain machine has an unsightly, crusty white sediment in the drain. The only thing saving this place is that the service was quick! But maybe that’s because it wasn’t busy since there was only one other person eating besides me! First and last time I’ll come here. I rather just drive further out to the other Erik’s in MH!!

I just had an extremely unpleasant experience at this Erik's. The larger Black woman (possibly the manager?) working behind the counter was extremely unfriendly and really made me feel unwelcomed during my order. I have never had a bad experience with any staff at any Erik's location, including this one. She needs to be informed that friendliness towards customers is a requirement of working in a retail environment. I hope her bad attitude was a one time issue, otherwise I won't be returning to this location. Very disappointed.

Ordered 2 Abbotts habits which is a warm sandwich. Apparently we were there close to closing time which nobody said anything to us but when our order came, they handed it to us in a bag. We stepped outside as they have outdoor seating. Well, they locked up the place. Started to eat our sandwiches and they were cold, and the bread tasted like it was two weeks old.

We stopped in Morgan Hill almost every time we go through because Annette wants a coffee from Pete's and they were hungry there's a Five Guys on the left but it's always good to stop at good old Erik's Deli Eric's Deli will make you a custom sandwich and a cup of soup whatever you want and it's a beautiful little meal and we've been very happy with every sandwich we've gotten there and I can't believe I haven't written something nice about them sooner see you at Erik's, unless you want a hamburger, or you want something else, anyway there are choices see you there

Decent menu with many sandwiches to chose from. Honestly it was good, that is the best I can say. Portion are good size.

Fast service...for the first time ever. We went on Friday June 9th at 6:30pm. but why do the employees give the ends!? NOBODY wants a good piece and an end. Next time just say you don't have the bread and ask what bread is preferred next. Worst sandwhich I've had from here. Not to mention it was a sloppy and thin pilgrims progress. Boo

Quick service from very nice, polite woman. The Ruben sandwich was good, not outstanding. The potato salad, on the other hand, was outstanding. Nice spot to pick up lunch during a wine tasting tour of the south valley.

The Good: The Chicken Caesar salad and REO Speedwagon sandwich were both fresh & wonderful. The Bad: I had the butternut squash and my husband had the clam chowder. Both were lukewarm. I mentioned it to the servers. They offered to reheat them for us & said that they just needed to stir the pot more. I asked, "doesn't soup need to be kept at a certain temperature?" They said - No. Now I'm no food inspector but I'm pretty sure that was the wrong answer. The Ugly: The restaurant proudly displays a sign showing they've been in business since 1973. Honestly, the furniture and decor look like they are holdovers from the 1973 grand opening. We walked around the restaurant looking for a table that looked clean. Could not find one. Finally we asked the young lady to clean a table for us. She made a cursory swipe at it & informed us that all the tables were permanently stained. Conclusion: Despite the excellent salad & sandwich and ok service, we will not return.

Food is very good. Employees are polite and helpful. All except one... I don't know her name... a dark skinned lady... she is always very unfriendly. She doesn't smile, looks angry every single time I've been there. Been going there a couple years. She needs to get a job where she doesn't interact with customers.

REO Speedwagon sandwich is my favorite. This is one of the last three Eric's Delis that has its cute original interior with reclaimed lumber and old farm tools on the wall. See it while you still can!

I did an online order to pick up for a meeting at work. Erik's did not include the salad dressing, so I had to return for it. I tried to call and no one answered. When I went back, I asked why no one was answering the phone (it was ringing) and they said they were slammed with online orders. Unfortunately, the lady that forgot to include my salad dressing was rude. The food is good, but I found the service lacking on this day.Parking: It's not hard to find a spot, but the parking lot is busy with a lot of cars, so watch your step.

So disappointed with Eric's Deli Morgan Hill Cochrane location. I had ordered a tuna melt specifically said that I wanted it melted toasted with side of macaroni salad. Not only did they not toast it. It was raw bread which was disgusting, also pasta salad instead of macaroni salad. I called them directly after I discovered the mistake when I got home, they apologized profusely and said they would make it right and I should come back and pick it up. I did, they gave me the same thing again so they gave me double macaroni salad I guess to make up for the difference. I said that new sandwich was completely unacceptable, it was the same as before, completely, and toasted and they said they would not substitute another sandwich. Very very poor customer service. We have been going there for at least five years don't go to this location. Their help is not very good at this point in time. Hopefully they can hire folks that know what the heck they're doing behind the counter.
