Munchies occupies a jam packed store front on Pico in the Pico Robertson neighborhood filled with interesting restaurants, most being kosher. This joint has ice cream but is mostly filled to the gills with, get this, every kind of candy one would ever consider. I am not a candy person, but I wandered in and with the help of the store employee, I purchased a bag of assorted chocolates filled with different fruits and coffee. There were no Umpa Lumpas, but plenty of candy to choose from so you can relieve your childhood and for a few moments, be a kid in a candy store again.

Really great food... Just not wild about the establishment

Tasteless, I remember a deli in the Industrial park that was far better Rocca's Delli Cafe in the 90's

Fast service and food was delicious. Had the guacamole burger, my husband had the New York dog and sesame teriyaki wings and loaded fries. Everything had great flavor.

Awesome people and the food is AMAZING! Had the teriyaki wings, and they were saucy and crunchy! What more can you ask for?!

Try everything!!! Excellent quality and service!! This is located inside a bar, so you can order from the bartender or go up to the walk up window and order yourself. Watched a Hockey game at the bar and ordered some fries, wings and sliders and was super happy I did!!!

Excellent burgers, cooked just right! Service was great, although admittedly not many people when we were there. We still appreciated the friendly service. We only had the burgers and fries (excellent BTW) and will be back to try other items. It's located inside the Hill so probably crazy during a game night. All in all, a delicious, very reasonably priced meal. Beats bar food at any other place I've tried.

Second person who went in and found it closed despite the hours saying they were open. And at 9:15pm, not much else in downtown is open on a Saturday. I was hoping Munchies would pull through for us on a weekend night, but I guess not. Hugely disappointed. Please consider revisiting your hours if you're not going to actually be open consistently.

Based on Berto's (chef) enticement with the picture and description of his filet mignon special this weekend (August 3), we decided to give it a try. Boy were we surprised! Cuz well, it is a bar after all.... You don't expect great steak at a bar. It was fantastic! We started with the garlic parmesan wings... Yummy!! My husband, well, let's just say he's a bit of a food snob. Especially a steak snob. I can't even remember the last time he ordered a steak out because he makes it so well himself. Anyhow, true to form, he ordered more traditional pub fare; New York hot dog and garlic fries. He thought the hot dog was fantastic (again, from a foodie). Garlic fries were good, but could have been crispier. We'll ask for that next time. I offered him a taste of my filet. Wow! That really is good! was his reply. Berto, the chef, and his partner (I'm kicking myself because I can't remember his name!) were very friendly and welcoming. And it doesn't hurt that Munchies is in collaboration (not collusion ) with the place that makes yummy slurries....I had Peach Fuzz and my husband, the Angry Mango. Really good! Umberto, the owner of The Hill, was also very friendly... He said they were working on some new slurry flavors as well. I have him a couple of suggestions lol. Because it's primarily a bar, it's a little louder than a restaurant of course. But I don't think it really turns into a big bar atmosphere until after 9. And when the rest of our wonderful MH restaurants have long waiting times, this place was open! So two thumbs up from us. We'll be back!

Found this little gem last week after Morgan Hill Friday Night Music. We wanted to grab a bite and have some drinks before calling it a night. Munchies is conveniently located inside The Hill in downtown MG. I am obsessed with the food. I ordered a bacon wrapped hot dog and chili cheese fries. My cousins had shrimp quesadillas and loaded fries, which I tried obviously (lol). Everything was delicious and super reasonable price considering how much food we had. Love the service also; food was delivered to us at our table in a decent amount of time. Just a great atmosphere, hands down new fav!

I would love to say this was awesome food but sadly wasn't given the chance. It's a Thursday evening and when I called to order was told " sorry Munchies isn't open today." WTF? Don't post you are a working restaurant open seven days a week when clearly you are at the mercy of people showing up! My advice, if you want to order from them call hours in advance to make sure they are "open" and your family hasn't already decided on dinner with someone to pick up on the way home. Rediculous
