My husband and I ate here after the Wildflower run on Sunday. We were seated quickly at the bar, otherwise there would have been a wait. They were very busy, and only had about three waitresses. Our waitress was kind and explained some of her, and some regular's favorites when I asked. My husband had the Chile Verde, and I had the eggs benedict with ham. Both were just ok, neither had much flavor. After we were done eating, we waited over 20 minutes to get the bill. They were quite busy with a line of people waiting to be seated but it was frustrating sitting there waiting.

I went here for the first time today because it's one of the few American breakfast diners that are open late (until 3pm). Upon arrival, we were seated quickly and drink orders were taken by the host. The space itself is decently large but kind of strange layout. There is seating all along the walls of the establishment but the center kind of has a lot of open space. It's a lot of booth and table seating and they can accommodate larger parties from what I saw. The host told us that the food orders will be taken by the waitress. Unfortunately, the waitress (only one) took a very long time to provide us service even though the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited at least 15 minutes before she came to us. What was upsetting is that we saw her serve a different table that came in after us, first. We asked the host if the waitress would be coming to us soon and he just said "I don't know" and laughed it off. It was a pretty unsatisfactory experience. As far as the food, the menu was large with a lot of the common diner options: pancakes/waffles/ French toast, omelettes and other plates like chicken fried steaks. They also had Mexican breakfast items like chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, etc.. Lunch options were available which was an array of burgers and sandwiches. I ended up ordering their "spinach omelette" and honestly wasn't stoked about the quality of food. The hash browns were so mushy and moist, not crispy at all like you would expect from hash browns. The omelette itself was okay at best, but for some reason there was a ton of what seemed like gravy(?) leaking out of the omelette which I totally didn't expect. The flavor wasn't there for me anyway. Sadly the best thing on my plate was the side of butter toast and jam. I honestly don't recommend this place which is a shame because I love a good diner. But with the poor quality of service and food I didn't like, coupled with the fact that it's downtown and parking isn't always easy to find, it's really not worth going to for me.

My recent visit to Papa's Place in Morgan Hill centered around the Chorizo Scramble, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The dish, which promised a combination of key ingredients according to the menu, fell short as these crucial elements were missing. Additionally, the potatoes were overcooked, affecting the overall quality. To compound matters, the Mimosa I ordered lacked sufficient alcohol content, and my wife's eggs were undercooked. Considering the current inflation, it's disheartening to suspect that the quality and quantity of the food may have been compromised to maintain prices. This tradeoff, along with the absence of key ingredients in the Chorizo Scramble, raises concerns about the overall dining experience at Papa's Place. I hope the restaurant takes constructive feedback into account to enhance the consistency and satisfaction of its offerings.

Food was cold and not good, we got Chilaquiles and chile verde breakfast. Lady had to come back twice to ask what sides we wanted. The beans were definitely old and the rice was just not good, neither was the Chile verde. Was taking a long time to get our check even though it was not busy so we walked up to the counter to pay and the lady was rude about us getting up to pay at the counter. My gf still tipped cash because she's nice and once we were walking to my car we notice she tipped herself $3 when I paid with my card. First and last time we are coming here.

Went here on a Friday morning. We were greeted by the ladies in the counter and told us to seat any where we liked. They have large booths which is nice for a bigger party. The waitress where friendly and kind. The food was tasty. It had a lot of flavor! Planning to go back in the weekend to check out the wait times. I ordered the chorizo skillet. It was sizzling and delicious. The chilaquile plate tasted it was done with a homemade chile sauce.
