Wife and I checked in and got a table at the bar area. 15 minutes have passed with no service, even though the table next to us had been fully served. The waiter somehow did not see us right at the next table. Wife complained and someone finally came by with the menu. I inquired about types of beers available and this guy didn’t know but said that would be right back. 10 minutes later with no one back to help us, we finally decided to leave without any drink or food being ordered. Went across the street at Betto’s and had an awesome experience. It turned out to be a bad thing and good thing sort of dinner night.

Sushi Confidential is so confidential they even keep the fresh fish confidentially out of the store. Nigiri was rotten and slimy, cut was awful. The selection of Nigiri was just as bad, oh and out of a few(on a Saturday). This sushi place is a generic sushi restaurant. Nob Hill has better sushi and a better sushi chef, not sure this place even has a chef(I know, I know "Sushi Randy"). But they sure do have prices for it, which is totally ok if it even had a touch of quality. Just any quality would justify some heavy prices, but major fail in all categories. Cheap cups and soup spoon was a flimsy disposable. Bathroom didn't have soap, was sent to the bar to use the bar hand sink, can't make this stuff up. Service, well, read the other reviews, don't need to beat the bush there. Labor industry is tough, so you get a pass. The atmosphere and branding is modern and fun but that's as far as it gets.

I don't recommend this sushi confidential location at all. It's extremely expensive, the food isn't inedible but definitely not enjoyable, and the staff were smoking in the back, it's all we could smell during our meal. I don't mind them smoking, but smoking inside the restaurant is ridiculous. They were also blasting Iggy Azalea and John Legend (????). Anyways, we paid over 70 dollars for 2 rolls and an appetizer and it wasn't worth it at all. There's also a 3% "liveable wage fee" that gets added to your bill. I'm all for a liveable wage, don't get me wrong, but having a surcharge on top of your already unjustifiably expensive food is insane. Definitely won't be coming back.

The food was good! I don't eat rice and they have several, large riceless rolls. We had the cucumber/Wakame salad and the fried jalapeños and spicy tuna appetizer. We'll definitely be back!

Overpriced and the rice wasn’t fully cooked. Service was slow. There are better sushi places in town with better prices and food. Won’t be going back.

It’s the only sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to where they screwed up the edamame. It was mushy and oily. We ordered an appetizer and it smelled really fishy and I don’t believe sushi should ever smell fishy. The service was bad. It just was bad all around and ridiculously expensive I will never go there again.

Overpriced UNEDITABLE food. I went here recently and I ordered a Philly roll. As I started to eat it, it tasted strange, sort of like cleaning supplies. I stopped eating it and had my dad smell it, he said it smelled like bleach. We had to send it back it was so disgusting. On the other roll I ordered was a hair. Not to mention $75+ for 4 rolls, 1 miso soup, and 1 edamame appetizer.NEVER EATING HERE AGAIN!

Incredible food, everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were great. Excellent service and loved the location in Downtown Morgan Hill.

Allow me to help you save time money and a headache. If you want an overpriced plate of food. If you want low quality ingredients and deal with what comes with those decisions- this is your place. The fish quality and is sub par. The size of pieces of the fish is just absolutely brutal but this is actually a good thing since the quality is so bad.Do not waste time with door dash. They add a huge % to their price and the quality is just not there. Restaurant does not want me to share my pictures trust me. They do a good job with social media pictures but that’s it - there is a much better place down Dunne.

It pains me to have to write this review, especially after all the hype with the MH launch, but this location is HORRIBLE.-ServiceWhen we arrived, no one was at the front desk. We stood there for almost 10 minutes until I had to walk to the back and find someone to get us seated. Dealt with two different servers during the meal. Neither were attentive at all. Bus service was struggling as well. The table next to us was left uncleaned for 20 minutes and the place was absolutely empty. Other tables were having to look for servers to help them get water. It was a mess. -Ambiance/ Cleanliness They attempt to provide a Vegas environment like Tao and it's a tragic failure. Place was a ghost town. There's loud club music and televisions placed randomly throughout the facility that aren't even turned on. The restaurant was filthy. We sat in a corner booth and the walls had stains all over them. The virtual menu had rust in it. The corner of the booths had old food. The tables looked filthy. The front desk table had a nasty used tissue sitting out for everyone to see. SEE PICS. -Food We ordered pot stickers, salmon nigiri, tempura and the chicken teriyaki bowl. The fried food was drenched in oil and the fish tasted old, but the biggest offender was the chicken teriyaki plate. The chicken was paper thin and tasted like fajitas (not a joke) and there was barely any teriyaki. Half the plate was rock hard vegetables that looked like someone picked them out from the salad bar at a motel buffet. I ended up sending the entree back because it was so gross. SEE PICS.If you are looking for Japanese food, avoid this option. We had a miserable experience. I would be surprised if this establishment is still in business a year from now.

Ambiance is great here! Music is fun! The food came quick and the price is the only reason it's not a 5 star, but still worth it. ! For this being a sushi spot in Morgan Hill it definitely gets the job done! All the sushi was very SOLID! The shady shrimp is hands down a MUST TRY! Miso soup also good, no complaints here.
