5 Best Salad Restaurants near Morro Bay

“Delicious food, exceptional service, and a beautiful view near the Rock. What more could you ask for? We'd heard a lot of buzz about Morro Grill, so on our most recent trip (April 2024) we put them on the list. They will now always be one of our go-to's in future trips! The pet-friendly restaurant is on the 2nd floor, but there is an elevator in addition to stairs. We were greeted warmly by two of the staff members who, throughout our meal, took fantastic care of us. Food: I had the 1/2 rack of the St. Louis Ribs and they were some of the most tender and flavorful I've ever had! The plate comes with garlic toast, cole slaw and another side -- I chose the house chips, and they were crispy and delicious. My husband is still raving about his Baja grilled shrimp tacos! They come three to an order, and he finished every bite. Our friend chose the Greek Power Bowl and also finished every bite. Honestly, by that time it was nap time and with that gorgeous view on a perfect sunny day, we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to return!“

“There were 9 or 20 of us. We were allowed to move tables together although that didn't leave many other tables. I had a rueben on rye. The bread was light and toppings perfect. My husband had a sub club on wheat. The roll was soft and tasty and the toppings very good. Everyone else enjoyed theirs. The soup of the day was minestrone and it was hot and delicious. We've been there before and will go again as the staff was friendly and helpful.“

“I'm a pizza snob & pizza was good. The staff was extremely pleasant & it was definitely wonderful watching the staff make the pizza. Plus, they had fantastic music playing. I enjoyed my pizza & left with a happy plate (meaning my plate was empty) ?“

“These folks know how to do restaurants. We had the shrimp tacos, tuna melt, and wheat tangerine beer for lunch. They are courteous, and they sit you quick. You see the ocean right in front of you or you can sit inside where is also nice. I highly recommend this place.“
