“It was my first time to mount baldy and all the bad reviews I read are not what I experienced. The lines were not long at all the Sunday I went. Love the natural features throughout the park. Their food options are limited but good. Overall my experience was good and rate it a 9/10. I think the only things they could improve are: 1. maybe an additional bar or other food choices. 2. Maybe have a DJ some days to liven up the place 3. More general information, like a big board outside that shows the lifts and how to get to them. I had to ask people how to get to the other lifts on the other mountain.”
“We stopped at this lodge restaurant right after going to the snow. This restaurant came in the clutch because we walked 3 miles in the snow and we were very hungry and we saw this restaurant on the way home. I’ve never been here before and I always see it when I pass by from going to Mount Baldy to the snow. The service was good and fast and the food was really good. Our server was named Mattie and she was awesome. Give her a raise. Ha ha ha ha. You can buy souvenirs if you want, I bought a cup because they did not have a shot glass. I usually collect shot glasses. Instagram: @jwardhooper22”
“When my friend first suggested Wow Kabab, I had my doubts. I mean, come on, trusting someone's taste who's Bar S hotdogs are their hotdog of choice? But hey, I decided to give it a shot, and boy, was I in for a surprise! First off, let's talk portions. They don't mess around at Wow Kabab. You know those places where you order a "large" and you get a serving suitable for a hamster? Yeah, not here. It's like they have a secret competition with themselves to see how much food they can pile on one plate without it toppling over. And let me tell you, it's a delicious challenge. Now, onto the rice. Divine doesn't even begin to cover it. It's like each grain has been individually blessed by the rice gods themselves. And the baklava! Oh, sweet, sweet baklava. It's not too sugary to send you into a hyperglycemic coma, but it's not so bland that you're left wondering if you accidentally ordered a dessert-flavored cardboard. But here's the real secret weapon: the pita chips. Don't you dare pass them up. These little nuggets of joy are so light and airy. And the best part? They're not greasy! I repeat, NOT GREASY! I swear, I order extra just so I can sprinkle them on my salads throughout the week. In conclusion, Wow Kebab has officially converted me. So, if you're ever in need of a food revelation, just remember: trust in Wow Kabab, and you shall be rewarded. And maybe bring a friend along for the ride. Even if their taste in hot dogs is questionable.”
“BEST SUSHI IN THE AREA! Today was my first time trying Imari after my sister has not stopped talking about this place. Quality of the sushi is 10/10 and customer service is even better. The owners are so kind, genuine, and truly are passionate for what they do! We got the Rainbow Platter which is perfect to share for 2 and so fresh! I'll be coming back - this is my new go-to spot!”
“What a hidden gem! This Creole restaurant exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance transported us straight to New Orleans with its charming decor and impeccable cleanliness. Our server was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Now, let's talk about the food. Phenomenal doesn't even begin to describe it! Each dish burst with authentic Creole flavors, leaving us craving more with every bite. And the drinks? Just as impressive! They perfectly complemented the meal and added to the overall experience. And let's not forget about dessert - the beignets were an absolute showstopper! Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, they were the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.Overall, our dining experience here was nothing short of extraordinary. We're already planning our next visit because one meal just wasn't enough to explore all the delicious offerings this restaurant has. If you're craving a taste of authentic Creole cuisine, this is the place to be!”
“I buy the yerba for drinking like tea. Everything is delicious! The empanadas , the pizzas! Dulce leche fabulous! The way I love it!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza. The empanadas filed with spinach.”
“My baby sister had this restaurant marked as a place to try and so for our sister dinner we decided to check it out. The ambiance is hipster/trendy. They have inside dining and outdoor dining. We chose to sit outside. They also turn on the heat lamps if it gets a little chilly. Our server was David. Five stars all around. He checked on us and made sure that we were good, he even suggested the truffle fries. Now the food, for appetizers my sister had the calamari and I had the Poutine fries. Both were delicious. The peppers in the Calamari were exquisite. We were kind of full so my sister and I split a burger. The beef was cooked to perfection and the truffle fries made with real truffles were outstanding. After our meal we had the pleasure of meeting Steve the manager who was really nice. I will be back so that my Mr. Can have a go.”
“Te best milanesa sándwich I've had in a long time. The coffee is always good and strong. This place is quaint and friendly! Of all the restaurants around this is my favorite for lunch!”
“An impromptu visit quickly became the best decision of the day!! The food is SOOOOO good!!Vegetarian options: I had the roasted Veggie plate and OMG the sauce was amazing but didn't even need it!! The sauce they give you for the perfectly baked focassia bread was also THEE BEST!! The mashed potatoes were delicious and the Jasmine rice was perfect ?? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!”
“Came here with a very large group after a family get together and they were very accommodating. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and patient with such a big group. The food came out just about all at the same time and we didn't wait very long. The appetizers were memorable. Huge onion rings and fried zucchini (literally a whole zucchini cut long ways in fourths!). I got a 1/2 burger which was juicy and the perfect size. All the other food that came out looked really good too. I loved the 50s theme. They even have a little store up front with candy, root beer samplers and shirts. Highly recommend for a great diner experience.”
“This place was DELICIOUS! Went for my birthday Dinner. Originally was going to have dinner across the street but the wait was too long, we came across this place and it did not disappoint. The servers was EXTREMELY nice and welcoming. We got the biggest combo and it came with Dungeness crab and one of the workers opened it for us and showed us how to eat it. It was sooo yummy. He said they come fresh (which explains why it was so delicious). There was only one other customer in the restaurant so the service was super quick. This place definitely deserves more recognition, as well as the workers! Place was super chill, quiet, and clean(:”
“I'm just blown away.... Like just wow. The restaurant looks like any regular hole in the wall dine in restaurant but what you get in terms of the food and the deal? Amazing! The tonkotsu was pure heaven, so much so that I'm not one to finish the broth usually but I forced myself to do the best I could with this one. The pork slices and the noodles are the perfect tenderness. Servers are very attentive and patient from start to finish. The really amazing deal was that your first two Sapporo or Hot Sake bottles are 99 cents too! Major plus that they play the best indie hits; I even heard my artists on the Playlist. I'm just blown away. It's hard to find great ramen in this neck of the woods but this place proves you don't have to live in orange county to get the same quality.”
“First time trying Indonesian food and what a treat. The menu was well explained in the foreign names so it gave me and my family an easy way to choose our food options. I tried the combo plate special which includes most common dishes , turmeric fried chicken, rendang beef, vegetable curry, turmeric rice and sauteed tofu. We tried various items on the menu with the family and we loved it all. Service was great and we were even greeted by the chef, which she was also the owner, Stanny. She was so nice and asked us how we enjoyed the food. She even remembered all our names. We will be coming back to try more things for sure.”
“It was fun, and I couldn’t believe how well the show and clues built up and made so many connections to solve the crime! I was personally impressed with myself that I was able to get the right suspect at the end, haha. Lots of entertainment and energy. Certainly worth attending. And my goodness the Bruschetta was yummy.”
“This place should have lines wrapped around the whole block ! I've had a lot of sea food, but this was an experience. Everything had so much flavor, and still kept the freshness of the seafood. The staff was extremely kind and the owner , the owner is an amazing person. I had the pleasure of meeting him and he was such an genuine person. Loved his attitude and his passion for his food speaks through his dishes.”
“It was my first time at PF Chang's. My daughter and her husband treated me to dinner after a long day of tax prep, and the dinner really rounded out the day! Melanie is a very attentive and professional server, and made our experience amazing. We had the For 2 special along with an additional entree. The low mein was really rich, the sweet honey shrimp was succulent and tasty and the desserts were off the chart. The dumpling appetizers were tender, juicy and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. The manager visited us and really made us feel welcome.”
“Dad's birthday was made extra special by the folks at Spaggi's. Started with the tomato puff pastry which is our favorite. The cheese sauce is habit forming and would be delicious on an amazon box. Henry sent out a gnocchi appetizer that was also incredible. Very lite, delicate gnocchi with a tomato and pesto sauce. We split two entrees between three people and had some left over to take home. Veal Florentine was a special for the night. Very hard to find veal around here, Spaggi's always has an incredible Osso Bucco, but if you want veal cutlets, there are not many places. These were very good, topped with prosciutto and spinach with an elegant wine sauce. We also got the steak and lobster. Both cooked perfectly and were delicious. They brought out a dessert for dads bday and we added one as well. A fantastic experience with great service and we got to talk with the owners Anna and Henry.”
“Been here probably more than 15 times to get my xiao long bao fix (shanghai soup dumplings). It's a small location so I go right when they open to avoid a wait.I'm glad I don't have to drive to Din Tai Fung anymore. Of course, the pork filling is better in DTF but the skin here is thin and taste is consistent. The pork filling is a close second to DTF.Love their spicy wontons and scallion noodles as well. Beef rolls are not too bad according to my friends.Hard pass on their fried stuff. For the scallion pancake, I prefer the one at China Republic.”
“Looks very trendy and it’s very busy. Perhaps the most trendy and busiest place in La Verne. Even the patio is busy. Located very close to La Verne University. Sometimes it’s packed with students.”
“Haven City Market in Rancho Cucamonga is a delightful destination offering a rich array of culinary delights. From the nuanced flavors of artisanal boba and fresh, custom poke bowls to the unique twist of Korean hot dogs, there’s something to satisfy every craving. The BBQ is a standout, promising a smoky and satisfying meal. Don’t forget to enjoy the thrill of the claw machines after dining—a perfect blend of food and fun in one vibrant location.”
“Got a Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. The Vietnamese coffee was feshly brewed. The beans are strong, but wish they were a little more robust. Also wish the drink itself was slightly sweeter. The Thai tea was pretty good. Definitely one of the better ones I've tried in the surrounding area. Almond Haus is also a really good spot to study or get some work done. They have multiple tables, large windows that provide natural lighting, wifi, and a clean bathroom.”
“Molly's Souper located in downtown Upland is a quaint breakfast spot! Enjoy having breakfast with a great view of the mountains especially when the mountains have snow covering.Food is tasty and decently priced. Service is not bad. Just depends on how busy they are at the time.Delicous dishes to choose from: Chicken fried steak, steak and eggs, breakfast burritos, omelets, and more!Overall 4.5 / 5Taste 4.5 / 5Quality 5 / 5Service 4 / 5Atmosphere 5 / 5”
“Great local panadería/bakery in Rancho. I have purchased conchas, atole, pan de muerto (during November), and a rosca de reyes during January. Everything was made nicely with quality and all tasty. The bakery is decorated lively and always looks clean. They sell tamales and other baked goods and drinks as well that I have yet to try. Service is friendly everyone u have called or popped in to make a purchase.”
“I love this place!! The food is very authentic and love the lentil soup! The hummus is so fresh and delicious too. Just be prepared to pay more if you pay with card.”
“What an enjoyable experience. Service was friendly. Atmosphere was great. It's the enjoyable and great food. I had lamb kabobs, rice and pita bread. Will be back!!”
“Upfront superior quality pizza parlor. First time going here and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a medium and the pizza was huge! Toppings were extremely generous. Chicken wings looked like turkey wings. Huge chicken wings. It is worth the price for the quality and amount you are getting. Found my number one pizza spot in the area. Pick up parlor but there is a couple tables on the side to eat there. Staff very nice. Oh and not only pizza, they have sandwiches, salad, lasagna, chicken wings, spaghetti etc. I will try out the whole menu eventually. I wish them great success! Sorry no picture. I had eaten the pizza.”
“This place is outstanding! We were in the mood for some good home style breakfast and boy did we find it. The biscuits and gravy were tasty, the omelette was jam packed with meat, cheese and veggies, but those breakfast potatoes...good lawd they are incredible! The staff was very nice, they made sure to keep the refills coming and chatted with us for a few minutes. It's not a fancy shmancy place. There aren't bottomless mimosas or a bunch of photo ops, but if you're looking for great food at a reasonable price that's served by a pleasant staff, you've found your new breakfast spot.”
“Surprised there's one in rancho! I also thought it was neat there's a drive through. Got the steak sandwich and pastrami chili cheese fries. I used to get the fries all the time back in high school and still just as good as I remember! Steak sandwich was okay to me, I think I'd try the pastrami sandwich next time.”
“"The steakhouse 5 stars enough! This place was AMAZING! The burger was hands down the best I've ever had - juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But what really made my experience stand out was the incredible staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic about the food and service. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and I felt like I was part of a special community. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience."”
“Stopped here for lunch on the way down from baldy. Nice old school spot. Burger was good and fries were delicious. You need to make sure you eat the pie as that was my favorite food on the menu.”
