Food was ready when I got there to pick it up. Food was great! It reminded me of the pizzas in Naples, Italy.Parking: I parked down the street around the corner, off to the side.

We walked in for weekend lunch without reservation and were seated right away. We ordered a Salsiccia pizza to share, along with prosciutto burrata and grilled octopus. The pizza wasn’t too salty, and the tomato sauce well-balanced with other ingredients. The most impressive part was the pizzas crust—it was soft and tender, reminiscent of pita bread (if that’s your thing), and we were quite satisfied. Prosciutto burrata was refreshing and worth ordering! But the octopus was too tough too chewy, I wouldn’t recommend it.Overall it’s a decent place to go if you’re craving pizza and Mediterranean food. Also it’s good for gathering no matter large or small group.

One of the worst restaurants in Downtown Mountain View (Castro Street). First of all, the waitress girl looked so angry and absolutely rude by asking me to step outside and wait for my "to go order". Secondly, one of the bartender men in this restaurant called me all the way from the other side just to say that I look beautiful and having me sit right in front of his face, and then asked if I wanted to drink a water or not?! When I said "No, thanks" He just ignored me the entire time and continued doing what he was doing earlier.I MEAN SERIOUSLY????My biggest mistake was that I tipped them before seeing any of this behavior. Will never go back again. If you are a female and going by yourself, please make sure to ignore this restaurant for your own sake.

My wife and I have been eating at Doppio Zero for many years now. Have absolutely loved their pizzas! However, been noticing a downwards trend for the last couple of months. Not sure what has changed, but hopefully management does an audit. Recently, the quantity and care with which the toppings are getting added to the pizza has been frustrating. For example, the last couple of times I have had the La Carne, the toppings were less than usual and worse, they were all concentrated on one or two slices, with the rest of the slices barely getting any. I imagine the pizza maker can fix this by just adding a little more care and attention. Especially when paying $20-$30 for a personal pizza, a little more care demonstrated in food preparation is called for. Hope this feedback reaches the kitchen.Vegetarian options: There are a handful of vegetarian options. But sometimes, the vegetarian labels are incorrectly used. For example: the "Little Gem" salad has anchovies, but is labelled vegetarian.

One of our go to places for Naples styled pizza. The only other place where we had better quality Neapolitan Margherita pizza was at Michels in Naples.

Visited Doppio Zero with a booking for six but only four of us made it. Despite being ready to order, we were told service couldn’t begin until all six arrived. This lack of flexibility ruined our planned evening. Understand policies are important, but there should be some accommodation for unforeseen circumstances. Sadly, this has turned us off from returning or recommending this place. Hope this feedback leads to improved service flexibility in the future.

Went to this restaurant today as walking and was able to do reservation for 6, but only 4 of us showed up on time. We were ready to dive into the menu, but got hit with a “nope, can’t serve you until everyone’s here.” Seriously? It was such a bummer. Places need some chill with their rules, especially when we’re there to spend our money and have a good time. Because of this, I’m not keen on going back or telling friends to check it out. Hope they think about being a bit more flexible in the future.

Ordered a pizza to go, got there towards the beginning of their suggested time, pizza was already cold and soggy. Also ordered pizza with this description “Burrata cheese, 24 months Prosciutto di Parma, arugula, shaved Parmigiano Reggiano, Evo”to go and got a plain cheese instead? Very poor experience.

Had an awesome time at Doppio Zerro in Mountain View! We crushed two pizzas – the sausage and chorizo one was spicy in just the right way, and the other with arugula, buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, and Parmesan was the perfect mix of fresh and crispy. The kids demolished the croquettas with truffle sauce and couldn’t get enough of the truffle fries, while the octopus salad was super fresh. And the desserts, especially the hazelnut tartuffo and gelato, were out of this world.Service was top-notch, too. Everything came out quick, and they nailed it with the food quality. Definitely ask for the spicy oil to take your pizza to the next level. Can’t recommend this place enough – it’s a must-visit for a chill vibe and seriously good eats.

The ravioli is great! The atmosphere is a bit too loud. There's a free public parking garage (Mountain View Public Garage) behind the restaurant, but it's difficult to find open parking.
