Excellent vegan chinese food spot that is all about the good food and the incredible hospitality of the owner Alice. She is incredible. She remembers your name and dishes you ordered and how you like it. She goes way above and beyond. And the food is excellent whether you are vegetarian or not (but especially if you are). The atmosphere is hole in the wall, but who cares. It's perfect.

Who else loves the vegan orange beef number 17? When you bite into it it is lightly pan fried and extra succulent. I've been going to Garden Fresh since I found out about it on Netscape in 1997. I also like the vegan duck. I really love animals and love eating plants which is going to save the planet. I'd recommend eating the orange beef which is their signature dish. The flavor of the orange beef is slightly spicy from dried red chili peppers and dried orange peel. There is enough sauce to coat the vegan beef. Served on a bed of broccoli.I think about eating this dish everyday because I love it. It's my favorite food in the world actually. The mock duck comes in layers [compressed soy sheets] that make it realistic to actually eating a real duck along with the texturized skin but without the pain of taking the animal's life. I love ducks because they are so happy. Don't you? There is also literature, free magazines, and posters on promoting vegetarianism and veganism around the world that is gaining traction. I think there were more vegans 10 years ago. Garden Fresh proves we can be happy without animal derived meat by eating plant based meat.

Delicious and vegetarian, what a great find! To top it off, service was incredible and so refreshing to have wonderful customer service. There was a bit of mix-up with my order but she sorted it out and they were both was quite friendly. I got the veggie duck and the black pepper chicken chow mein. Serving size and prices, no complaints at all. I had leftovers for another meal or two. Delicious and flavorful no doubt! Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

The entire menu is VEGAN! and the food is incredible! You have to come and try it. It is worth it.......Robert and Alice Liang are the owners and they are very special, wonderful people. They have devoted their lives to provide this community with a healthy, compassionate and delicious food service free of animal ingredients and cruelty.
