Their sourdough bread is simply amazing! I'm eating it as I'm typing this review right now. I visited the bakery based on the recommendation of a friend for their delicious pistachio cookies but when I was in the store this morning, I end up getting the dessert cups, Napoleon cake, and sourdough bread. The bread is delicious and perfectly baked. Will definitely be back.

Oh my god I love this new bakery. My friend and I walked in and were immediately welcomed. Everyone was very smiley and friendly. This family-owned bakery serves jar cakes, which I've never seen anywhere else. The store was very clean and well lit, and I love the granite flooring they have. Everything looks super modern and new. While my friend and I were deciding, the lady working the counter offered us samples! The samples were much appreciated as originally I was going to get the chocolate mousse jar cake, but after trying everything I got the mixed berry. The woman was so sweet and kept offering us more samples . I was pleasantly surprised by the pistachio flavor! I think if I was craving something creamier I would've gotten it. I also got a chocolate chip cookie, which was an interesting version of the standard chocolate chip cookie I've had elsewhere, but totally good still! I'll definitely be back to try their amaretto cookies and their garlic bread! PS the owners say to either eat the cake right away or refrigerate! It tastes best when cold :))

This place is really underrated!Warm and welcoming staff. They offer free samples for all the menu items. Totally love their Pistachio and Tiramisu jar cakes! They offer fresh sourdough bread too. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything GK bakes is amazing. It's a regular bakery with lots of gluten free options, too. I have not tried something I haven't liked. Everything is truly so good. The owners are very endearing and friendly. They offer samples every time I stop in. The space is clean and well-lit. Please visit! You will not be disappointed

Read about this bakery on Yelp and decided to try it. My friends and I went when it was near closing time. The owner was at the counter. His wife is the baker. He was very friendly, encouraging us to try everything they have, and I mean everything. We tried all the flavors of cake in the jar and several other baked goods. They were all delicious and was difficult to select which ones to buy. He was very patient with us and even give me half a loaf of jalapeño cheese bread for free. Will definitely have to come back. They also have another store at Palo Alto. If you bring the jar back, they will give you a $1 back.
