I ate here last weekend and I still haven't been able to stop thinking about it. The food was exquisite, some of the best sushi I ever had. They also were doing a kakuni dish as the special of the day that was so rich I saw stars. Great service, DBZ songs playing on speakers, such a fun time. There was a little bit of a wait since it was a Friday night, but it was absolutely worth it. Excellent all around.

The food was so delicious and the waitress kept checking in and wondering if we wanted more water, tea, or hot water. They also asked us if we enjoyed the meal. ?

Great value off Castro MTV Japanese food, bento and sushi. Wifey had the Spider Roll and I had the pork katsu curry, both good. The tempura mix was a little greasy.

The food and services are amazing! We ordered Makimono Combo, Super Philadelphia Roll, and the Flying Dragon Roll. All are super delicious and they even offer us free heart chocolate! It was my birthday dinner and I love it! I will definitely come back again!

Got stomach ache for a couple of days after eating here. We ordered the Makimono Combo, Super Philadelphia Roll, and the Flying Dragon Roll. The taste was decent, but I have no choice but to give 1 star because I got stomach aches for the next 2 days after eating here, most likely from the raw fish ingredients. The service wasn't that great, seemed like they rushed us to finish near closing time.

Great adorable sushi place in the bay! I always go for lunch or dinner bento - 2/3 items depending. Good friendly service, decent portions. Ambiance is more old, unassuming vibe but a good solid

Local family owned Japanese restaurant. My new go-to, and a great value.

Good food, clean location and affordable. The reason for the 3 stars is because they sprinkle salt on their tonkatsu. 20 years of eating Japanese food all over the world, this the first time I have come across a salted tonkatsu, salted after it's been cooked. Lol

From outside, this restaurant may not look as appealing and inviting, but by the time we were done with dinner, this restaurant was completely packed. My friends and I were the first ones to be seated when the restaurant opened for dinner, but despite that, the service was really slow and resulted in an unpleasant dining experience. One person in our group was already done with their meal by the time our meal arrived so you can say, we arrived there together but we didn't eat together. We ordered their Nigeri deluxe, omakase, tuna stuffed mushrooms, bento box, and chicken karaage. The cut of the fish on all the nigiri pieces was decent, but the rice was a bit undercooked. The omakase comes included 9 pieces of sushi, 12 pieces of sashimi, and a poseidon roll. For $70 price tag, this is a pretty good omakase deal in terms of quantity. It was all very filling.Tuna stuffed mushrooms were decent. Chicken karaage was okay. It wasn't crispy at all (felt soggy). The bento box was a very decent portion size as well, and it came with salad, fish, rice, chicken, and fruits.Regardless of what you order, you'll be served miso soup to start with. The miso soup was decent. The staff was really friendly and nice but the service didn't live up to the expectation.
