What a vibe—I love eating outdoors under the umbrellas, and I always feel at home here when I meet Alia and the rest of the staff. They truly make it feel like you’re part of the family, and the food reflects a high-quality home cooking feel as well. I come here for the most affordable yet high quality food on the entire of Castro Street, and I often wonder how places like Oren’s and Hummus Kitchen stay in business, when this place tastes so much more authentic and feels like a small-town cafe rather than a corporate chain. I can’t wait to keep trying all the great vegetarian and vegan items on the menu, and I’m happy to see that the veg-GF menu is constantly updating :)

The food was good and the service was great but I was expecting more for the shawerma this type of shawerma should be advertised as grilled chicken in a pan with shawerma seasoning because this is a pan cooked. Shawerma should be in a skewer. But overall good
