I'm new to the area. I learned about Petra's from the owner's son, who grew up and now works in downtown Mtn View. He told me it was his parent's dream to start this food truck. It doesn't get much more local than that!I decided to swing by for lunch yesterday. First up, very cool, their menu is a double-whopper: Latin and French cuisines. I wasn't sure how that might affect my simple order for a chicken burrito, but they nailed it perfectly! It's hard to really rank burritos, but this was easily one of the best! All the right flavors, in all the quantities/placement, with a perfect amount of juiciness.Also, I met the dad and he was really friendly and gracious. He sampled me a few beignets to help me understand the other half of the menu! delicious!Highly recommend~

Caught them on a rainy day and the food hit the spot! I was happy to try a variety of foods from this place. I got a quesadilla, quesabirria Tacos, beignets, and a crème brûlée! They put their own little twists to them that I thoroughly enjoyed and their peanut salsa is to die for. The people working the food truck were so nice and sweet. Glad I saw this truck while driving by and will stop by again!

A fun stop to share a crepe or beignet or a burrito. In this case, all three. The beignet came out first, it was airy bit not bready enough but the powdered sugar and chocolate spread made it tasty. The burrito was chicken and quite filling with rice, beans, lettuce and a side of chips with two salsas. The crepe was good with the banana and strawberry with whipped cream on the side. Service was nice, you eat outside with a couple of tables. We have seen this food truck, French and Mexican for awhile and we were curious. Next time, probably try their tacos or creme brulee.

This place is amazing!!! We stopped there by accident and left happy and full!! I was craving a torta de jamón all day and what do I see when I walk up to the truck? They have tortas de jamón !! At that moment I knew got sent me there , it was soooo good ! The people were so nice and friendly im definitely going back And trying the rest of the food !! My god look at my torta, I want to go back right now !!! Gracias Mr. Cook it was delicious!!

The beignets are worth five stars, and you need to eat them right there while they're hot. The order got us six small ones and some Nutella with them. (He doesn't have coffee, though, but 7-11 and Starbucks are nearby.)Croque Provençal was a nice veggie alternative to Croque Monsieur, and there are crepes.First time we went there I was more in a Mexican mood, and the quesadillas were decent, but he's got a wide range of standard Mexican dishes.

I had a chicken sandwich at lunch that was served with steak fries. The chicken sandwich was significantly better than a fast food place, and the steak fries weren't crispy but were tasty. Price and wait time (~8 min) were both decent.

Was recommended through a friend an stopped by a few times an each time was happy on what I selected . Will let friends and family know on what's new in town and should not be passed up !! An also Great and friendly customer service an when I left I felt welcomed an sent off with smiles and waves .overall great experience
