The sandwich is not worth the price for the little amount of meat that's given. The sourdough bread is very good.

The food is very good, it doesn't feel like a franchise food, it feels so nice, unique!! Its cost is a little high but it is worth it!!

Went for LunchFood - 4/5. Sourdough had good bite to them with nice ratio of crust to crumb. French dip had tender meat with extra umami added by the cheese and spread. Au jus had good beef flavor with just the right amount of saltiness. Mac & cheese was OK. Macaroni was on the softer side and the cheese sauce was very one note. The heavy flavor got overwhelming quickly and needed a stronger palate cleanser than the side of bread.Service - 4/5. Friendly service and food came out promptly.Value - 3/5. Prices are on the higher side with the french dip being $13 and a small mac & cheese $5.25. The prices themselves aren't extravagant given the area, but the portion sizes leaves much to be desired. Every item is a la carte and can add up quickly to make a full meal.Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

I usually go to the Walmart on Mountain View to do some shopping, I fond out that this store is the closest to San Francisco.I was curious to see what Sourdough & Co had to offer. The store seats on a corner as you enter the Walmart from Showers Street and is kind of hard to see at dark. The store was clean and the set is very casual, the cashier said hello and was very patient and helpful as I was looking at the menu, the restaurant has both hot and cold sandwiches as well as soups and salads. We ordered the Clam Chowder, the Chowder was a bit thick and had a good seasoning, the soups are accompanied by three pieces of fresh sliced Sourdough on the tray; I ordered the Crispy Crunchy Chicken that was advertised on the wall, the sandwiches can be ordered by 4”, 6” and 8”, the cashier nicely asked to take a seat and that the food would be delivered to our table, the sandwich was served with a pickle warmed on a toasted sourdough bread with sliced lettuce and tomatoes, with a ranch and house dressing, jack cheese and crispy tortilla strips, carved chicken was advertised and it had a pull chicken look to it, I was surprised on a good way by the taste of the ingredient, the freshness of the veggies, the crispy crunchy feeling on every bite. Overall a great experience and will make sure to visit the other chain store locations.

First time customer, loved my experience overall and I'll come back. I ordered the Pastrami Reuben and it was really good. You come to a place like Sourdough. & Co for the bread... so let's talk about that. My sandwich roll was perfect. Not too dense, just soft enough, with a wonderful crispy crust, nice sour bite, and warm. Excellent! I'm tempted to go back for a soup in sourdough bowl next time. The rest of the sandwich was warm flavorful and juicy. Though I prefer my reubens to have a little more sauce. My coleslaw was fresh, crispy, but a little bland. Service was quick and friendly. Average strip mall location, so not much for ambience, but it was clean and the signage has style. Looking forward to my next visit.

My first time here today. The teenager who helped me was great! He was friendly & patient in answering my questions. Tipped on my card and cash as I was happy with his service - 5 stars!!!I ordered to go: 6-inch Roast Beef in Honey Wheat (French dip) with Swiss, 6-inch Pastrami & Turkey in Honey Wheat (toasted) and Clam Chowder cup. They followed all my requests for the sandwiches - which I appreciated. Wait time was fair and food was good - not great...part of the reason why I only gave this place a 3 star rating. Another reason why it's only 3 stars is, there was this older woman (who prepped my order) who was a bit rude. I took a couple of spoons from the cutlery dispenser (touching the handles of the spoons) for my soup. As she handed me my order, I checked inside and there were spoons already. I didn't want to waste the spoons I initially got so I returned them on the dispenser. The woman said with a condescending tone and bad attitude "don't return the spoons if you've already touched them!!!" I automatically said "sorry" and took the same spoons out while she was watching me she then rolled her eyes on me while giving a big "sigh" - appearing SO ANNOYED AND IRRITATED. She got all the spoons from the dispenser and THREW EVERYTHING IN THE TRASH BIN!At this point, I told her, "well, how will I know I shouldn't return them?!? there is no sign here that says that!" She then said "that's fine!". I didn't want to engage in any convo with this rude worker anymore. I asked the teenager if they had butter and the woman answered "yes with do" with a much nicer demeanor. The teen gave me 6 butters and looked worried as he saw and heard what transpired, That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe her day isn't going great - but she didn't have to lash out on a customer...a first-time customer. This would be my first and last visit here. There are other sandwich places around Mt. View that are better tasting and I won't have to worry about an employee giving me a bad attitude. To the teenager, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! (Apologies for typos/grammar...I'm typing and annoyed at the same time! LOL)

Wanted something different so we tried the place out for the first time. It was very clean looking and the staff welcoming. My mom and I both had the French Dip. We could have shared one ( we know for a future visit) but ended up eating it all because it was yummy and didn't want to throw it out. HahaIt isn't a cheap eat, but it is someplace I wouldn't mind spending my money on another visit.
