Solid sushi. Great service- quick, friendly, not overbearingly attentive. Super cute restaurant.

The namesake sushi, eighty-eight roll, was great and nicely presented with poke pieces on top. The regular rolls: spider, Philly, and Negihama had chewy seaweed (not a crispy bite) wrap and not as fun and tasty. The agedashi tofu was nice and the hot sake was generous. They were busy so they couldn't always check when we needed water or additional ginger to add flavor to sushi.

This place is a gem for Japanese food lovers! Their bento boxes are incredible – a perfect mix of flavors and textures that's both satisfying and fresh. The sashimi is another must-try – melt-in-your-mouth quality with beautiful presentation. And the service? Super speedy and friendly. Highly recommend Eighty-Eight Sushi & Ramen!

Very nice restaurant in a convenient spot. The food (ramen) was okay compared to other places, but not bad. It's a good comfy place if you want to just grab a bite from a large menu selection. Service was excellent and everyone was quite welcoming!

Cozy & clean ramen place. Presentation on sushi is delightful but it's pricey. Been here for both lunch & dinner.PRO:- Cozy & clean- Decent food- Nice serversCON:- Pricy, but lots of place are now. I just can't get over Two bowls of sushi with appetizer and tip almost $60?SUMMARY:Not a memorable meal except the price.
I got the phoenix roll, mushroom hand roll and hamachi nigiri and they were all delicious. The fish tasted fresh and had a good texture, especially the hamachi nigiri. Nice atmosphere inside with friendly staff. Would recommend coming here for sushi!

My friend suggested we check this place out before our concert at Shoreline. We came on a Wednesday at 5 PM and was immediately seated. One thing that I already liked about the place is that I didn't have to deal with downtown parking. Parking is so easy here. The restaurant is very nice and clean. For food, we ordered the following:-Spam musubi-Sushi bake-Poke chips-Eighty-eight roll-Back breaker rollPortion is pretty big here, so we def ordered a lot for 2 girls. No regrets though! The eighty-eight roll was my favorite and I def recommend this. Sushi bake was good too and the presentation was nice (bonus points)! Service was on point. Overall, we had a good experience. Will def come back here to try the ramen and other rolls.
