3/13/24The Don's Deli2105 Old Middlefield RdMountain View, CA 94043I was in the area so I stopped in at around noon on a Wednesday. It's a small sandwich shop in a strip mall at the corner of Rengstorff and Old Middlefield Way. Parking was okay for the small mall with two rows of spaces. It was busy with many people waiting to pick up their orders. Don't plan on eating in, I counted 7 chairs for the 3 small tables.I ordered Don's Original Tri-Tip on Sour Dough. The sandwich was hefty with a good amount of thinly sliced beef with a subtle teriyaki flavor. The quality of the meat was good with no fat and tender (for Tri-Tip). It was a little chewy but I expected that. It was soaked with dressing and messy, don't attempt to eat in your car.You order and pay at the register and wait for your name to be called. The sandwich was tasty and a good value. It's repeatable.

Amazing subs for a great price. Go for the chicken chipotle if you like meat and a bit of spiciness or the Chick Chick Curry for a veggie option.Oh, and I recommend the Dutch Crunch - best combination of fluffy and crunchy-ness.

Fantastic sandwiches! We tried the "carnitas torta" and "the slammer." We'd absolutely order both again. The bread here was incredibly fresh, as was all the produce, and the meats were delicious. I honestly can't stop thinking about the herbed olive oil that put the slammer sandwich over the top...and the carnitas were so tender and also really enjoyed the cilantro lime ranch on that sandwich, as well. We will be back!

A great, new deli (formerly named Pimental). Service is excellent and I like the sandwich options. Very large and filling, and premium sandwiches (hot shredded chicken with avocado!) are only $11. Cookies are giant and delicious.

If you are looking for an above Average sandwich, Look no further. My sandwich was amazing, and don’t forget the brown sauce! So many options to choose from cannot wait to come back. And I’m from Fresno. Highly highly recommend! 10/10

Long day traveling and we were hungry. My belly is being loud so we stopped by The Don's DeliWe entered and were warmly greeted. The insides aren't fancy but its clean without being sterile. The menu is on the wall and east to read. This so important when you are trying to function on three hours sleep Back to the menu- So many options to try and all sounded delicious. I opted for the falafel salad because we also had dinner plans. So glad i did. The salad was large- i couldn't finish it. I really appreciated the dressing on the side. The falafels were crisp on outside and fluffy on inside. Quite flavorful. The dressing i selected was cilantro lime and we also got a sample of spicy ranch plus another one i can't recall the name of. Really good stuff The sandwiches looked tasty two but my son and husband scarfed them down. Definitely worth returning to
Such a great sandwich! The ambiance was a little plain due to them being new at this location but the service and sandwich was amazing. I will definitely be back. The only reason for my 4 stars is ordering though DoorDash was a little tricky. My order was not confirmed at all and that made me a little worried but I drove over there anyways. When I showed up to the restaurant it was completely ready. Idk if it was a glitch or what but that could be a problem for others when trying to order and I could see why people could get extremely frustrated with it.

I got “The Nola” sandwich. One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a while. Reminds me of a muffuletta with the olive tapenade they put on there. I got a cookie too, nice and soft and fresh. Very friendly people with great customer service too.

Never written a food review before but this place deserves it. All the sandwiches I’ve tried are great and all the sides I’ve tried are great as well. Service is great they’re fast and kind, can’t beat it, stop reading reviews and just go.
