Good drinks - old fashioned and oxaca mezcal. Apps had a good variety of both vegetarian friendly and non. A cozy view of the pool.Vegetarian options: Meatball, empanadas, charcuterie board.

Long wait for a plastic cup sweet and small margarita. Then it took 15 min to get the bill. Find another place to drink on the promenade.

First time a Broma. The overall experience was good, great service, the food was very good but! I was disappointing about how spicy the dishes were (4 of us) . I felt I was at Mexican restaurant (don't get me wrong, I love Mexican food) No one in the group was not expecting to eat spicy dishes, we are all from Spain :-)

I went with some girlfriends for a Galentine's dinner. The ambiance is nice although it's a bit weird to walk through a hotel lobby and a long hallway with a pool on one side and the kitchen on the other to get to the seating area. The servers were very kind and attentive. We wanted some wine, but it was so overpriced so we went instead for the Lychee sangria which was ok. As far as our dinner goes the Chicken Croquetas were very enjoyable and tasty but there was nothing special about the Pan con Tomate and the charcuterie board with Manchego and Chorizo iberico as, really sad. I could see every element of that board as something I could get from Trader Joe's for much less than what we paid for it, it was an incredibly disappointing start of our dinner and lowered our expectations enormously. Fortunately the Seafood Fideua we shared was really good.. We had a decent experience but I don't think we'll go there again

Food and apps were excellent. Great service. But expensive! Auto gratuity felt a little snuck in there and we ended up paying over $50 per person for one mocktail and one appetizer each.

Broma is probably the best-kept culinary secret in the South Bay/Peninsula area. The food is a foodie's delight, and the menu still has plenty of things the less snobby eaters would enjoy.

The drinks are interesting and pricy, which make one to expect more. While the drink, "Don't call me shirley templeton", got me excited with a complex aftertaste, it lacked the momentum for me to try another. After tax and mandatory gratuity, comes around $25 per. That got me thinking, a few more of those could book you a night at this hotel during low season, but I digress. The bar stools will need to up the comfort level for those without a soft tush. Otherwise, this quiet spot is perfect for a conversation.

Staff is polite, but fairly slow and doesn't know how to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. The menu has poor selection of vegan or vegetarian options, some menu items can be made vegan by removing meats, without replacing them with vegan ingredients, you end up paying same high price for what feels like an incomplete meal. Results in an overall poor experience, do not recommend.

We were there on Sunday, nice and quiet, the place is beautiful, food was delicious, the burger and the Jamon Iberico se Bellota are a must. Looking forward to coming back. Cheers.Eddie Valley./ Sommelier at the Wine Room Palo Alto.

The Emerald Hour had unique and complex cocktails that were well crafted and very delicious. Great atmosphere and great service. The prices were up there, but the cocktails had quite an array of ingredients, and involved some unique techniques in their creation the price does seem justified.

Had the Broma Experience option on the menu. Perfect amount (actually maybe even too much) of food for two people. Service was great at the start but by the time we got to the last course it was taking a long time to clean up between courses and bring out the next. 20% gratuity is added automatically to the bill, but didn't deserve 20%, probably would have given 15%. Nonetheless, great food and decent (but not great) service in a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back in a few months.

We were on the look out for authentic tapas. Many places put an American slant on the flavors it seems. While this place has its own slant, it does so without losing its connection to Spanish sensibilities. The food was superb and surprisingly generous in portions. We loved the moderistic and understated ambiance. The experience channels modern Madrid. Located in the Shashi Hotel, we were reminded of our time at the Hotel Urban in central Madrid, especially Shashi's open air Emerald Bar and adjacent pool area. Start with a cocktail there before heading to your table. Definitely on par with cocktails you get at Tatel Madrid. No doubt, pricing is a bit on the high end, but worth the value for sure. Gratuity is included in the pricing as well as proper compensation for their staff.

Not the kind of experience I was expecting. The design of the restaurant is modern and elegant but that's it. Not a lot of choice in the menu, very expensive for the quality, service was just okay and feeling pressured to choose more plates ($$$). Overall I'll recommend you to check on Teleferic Barcelona first before trying this Spanish restaurant. Not recommending it.
