Decided to spend a couple hours in Murphys because it's such a cute area for wine tasting. I had never been to Tuscanos but my friend had raved about it so I thought I'd give it a try. The appetizers were surprisingly tasty. How much can you expect from chicken wings, calamari and bruschetta? The chicken wings were covered in this tangy/garlicky sauce that just punched your mouth with flavor. They're definitely finger licking good. One order was not enough for four hungry adults. The bruschetta was light, refreshing and flavorful; and the calamari was thankfully not soggy or tasteless which can easily happen. The Caesar salad was good, I certainly finished it, but I cannot tell if I ate it all because I was soo hungry or because it was so good nonetheless it satisfied my craving. The Philly sandwich unfortunately lacked seasoning and the pasta was good but nothing spectacular. The service was great, seemed like there were only two ladies working the whole restaurant and they managed to do an excellent job.

I had a surprise birthday party for my husband's birthday and Toscanos did a fabulous job! Our 15 guests almost licked their plates clean & raved about the food for days. Erika, our primary server, did an excellent job. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and crew!

Had lunch with friends this week and the meal was delicious and the service excellent. I had a chicken parmesan sandwich, basically the chicken/cheese over an open-faced piece of sourdough bread with a side salad. The salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing just the proper amount. The sandwich was the best chicken parmesan I have had in a long time, cooked exactly right with the proper amount of flavorful sauce and cheese. I loved it. The ambience was fine. It was a rainy day so we sat inside. Clean and bright. When possible we prefer to sit outside on the patio which will be as soon as Spring arrives.

We had a very disappointing dinner tonight. We had made reservations a couple of weeks ago by phone and were never asked if we wanted indoor or outdoor dining. It was 43°, raining and very cold. They did not have any open tables in the restaurant so they sat us in the outside patio, which was covered & had a heat lamp, but it was still very cold. The servers kept coming through the drape and leaving it open, which was allowing the cold, wet air to come blowing into the covered patio. Also, our server kept forgetting to bring us things we asked for and had to be reminded. My pasta dish was good but my first wine choice was unavailable. Then I heard the server telling somebody at another table that their beer choice was unavailable so I think they have an ordering problem. My husband said that his spaghetti and meatballs was like something that was served out of a can. Then they sat a couple next to us with a dog that was very ill-behaved and kept barking and moving all over the place. I would never recommend this place and we definitely won't be going back.

A good replacement for Serafino's The menu is extensive enough to make your decision difficult; this is a good thing. You should expect to wait a while if you don't make reservations. The service service was good, our waitress was very helpful and pleasant. We will definitely make this one of our regular go to restaurants in the Murphys Arnold area. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

Toscano's has great food. So start there. I would recommend you try when in the area. The challenge part for me is the service. Went with family of four. After ordering food they brought 2 of the three drinks we ordered. My soft drink was not delivered. I had to ask. Then the young lady asked if we wanted more bread. We said yes please but never came. No refills on water. I could have used that more than the soft drink. Felt a little left off the service radar except when it was time to pay. No offer on dessert or even a quick check by waitress to check in during our meal. Which in this case would have been easy solves. This level of service was reflected in my tip. Food is top notch but the service is not what we expected. I want to come back but willing to try other places. This was my second go around here. The first time was me thinking they are just busy. Which they are. However, the service didn't meet expectations this time as well. I really want to like this place and feel like a valued customer, not an inconvenience.

The restaurant was chilly. No obvious source of heat in the dining room. The chairs were not comfortable. We waited quite awhile to place our order.The food itself was quite good, but the environment did not compliment the food.

5 of us went to Toscano's for dinner on Sunday afternoon. To say the food and service was perfect almost seems like an understatement! My husband said never has he been so satisfied with everything in a restaurant and he's 80 So the voice of experience! The orders were 2 shrimp appetizers, one bruschetta I'm tempted next time to just have the appetizer and a salad the sauce the perfectly cooked shrimp were in was unbelievably good. Two orders of seafood Diablo, huge scallops, lots of shrimp, calamari and muscles. One order of spaghetti and meatballs, one chicken Alfredo, and one chicken piccata. Every single dish was just outstanding with plenty to take home. We all agreed probably one of the best dinners we can remember!
