Love the food! The wait is always worth it! It's soo good that my wife and I come from San Diego just to get some whenever we have a feee weekend! We love the ox tails and the catfish! Cajun rice is amazing as well as the Mac!

Da Big Easy is back at it. I ordered fried okra, but once again they didn't make the photo shoot because they didn't survive the ride home, not even the lagniappe. The oxtails were tender and succulent (falling off the bone). That fluffy rice layered with that silky gravy. The Mac n cheese was cheesy creamy yummy and the yams complementevery bite perfectly. You guys don't disappoint. That peach cobbler was so good! The owners treat you like you're guests in their home-real southern hospitality!

It was alright to be honest the service was great the girl working the front counter was really nice. However, the food was ok at best i ordered the 2 smothered pork chop plate with collards and mac and cheese with a soda the total was 28.25 which is a little steep if you ask me. The porkchop was fried well a lil less seasoning than i'd like but it was ok overall. The collards were bad they had way too much sugar they was cooked well though. Mac and cheese was ok not bad. One thing that was a little annoying is when i walked in i saw they were out of like 7-8 things and 2 of em are the things i wanted but it's all good.

Love this spot!!! Greens were fire! Oxtail was so tender!!! Food was on point. My 4yo son ate up the entire side order of Mac n Cheese The dining area was put together well, especially the wall art! Bravo! I love it here!

My husband and I decided to stop by Da Big Easy Bayou Kitchen because we were craving soul food. I must say...they did not disappoint. We were greeted by the staff and owner when we walked in the door. The establishment was clean and represented N.O. with Madi Gras decor. Although we wanted to order everything on the menu, we chose to order the Red Snapper with Mac and Cheese and red beans and rice and the Beef Brisket with greens and potato salad. All items ordered were full of that down home southern flavor and the greens had an extra kick. The desserts are amazing. Make sure that you try the beignets! Overall, give Da Big Easy a try... you won't be disappointed. It's cheaper to eat here than to purchase a plane ticket to New Orleans. Lisa

This was our first visit to Da Big Easy Bayou and it didn't disappoint. Restaurant has a relaxed vibe and really good customer service. The pork ribs were yummy with a delicious bbq sauce. I especially loved the pineapple cream soda. Will definitely be back on a regular basis!

Not only was the food delicious, we had a chicken patty sandwich, fried okra, and peach apple cobbler, but the service was lovely and they are so friendly and helpful. The okra was perfect! Fried in a deliciously seasoned breading and nice and crisp. Thanks for a great lunch, can’t wait to try more!!

This is a review coming from someone who takes care of someone that deals with multiple food allergies such as pork, gluten, nuts, shellfish, and more. For over the past few years it's has been very hard to try to find a local spot to go eat and be able to comfortably enjoy a meal without having to worry about my intolerances. Every experience is a trial and error and the same can be said for this place. I originally came here because we thought it was "Slap Yo Momma BBQ". However it came as to my surprise that that place has shutdown because now we have this place. We let the person up front know about the allergies and she seemed to just brush it off as if you're eating here and you should expect to eat what you eat. I had the beef brisket and it had flavor, for a little bit until that flavor ran out and it just because a flavorless chunk of meat that was more comparable to beef jerky's then a soft flavorful brisket. We asked for a substitution for the bread it comes with because gluten, and the person helping us said that they just won't give the bread to us, and then still gives out the bread. It doesn't seem hard to just sub it for like a side of fries or something like that. I also ordered seafood with my meal and thankfully it was amazing. The catfish was breaded, seasoned, and well fried. The shrimp were kinda more like a squishier version of tempura shrimp but still packed with flavor. Here's where things get upsetting for me. And ordered a 16oz side of collard greens and they were never received so I go to the front and ask for them. The person who helped us didn't know what I was talking about and thought I wanted to buy collared greens. So I show my receipt and then in 2 minutes I get them and as I leave the place to go eat the collared greens there was chunks of pork in the greens. So that just tells me that they don't prioritize cross contamination because now my greens are contaminated and now I have to throw it away. The greens were also filled up with too much juices which was very hot and spicy so fair warning to those who hate spices. Me personally I like spice but after a few bites it just wasn't tasting right. However they season those greens and whatever spices they use just doesn't click together and it tasted nasty. So I threw it out the window and just went to Rústicos next door. I paid nearly $70 for everything and it seemed like I didn't get my moneys worth. Like I said trying a new place is always trial and error and if your someone with an allergy intolerance I'd be careful of coming here.

Every time I'm in the area I go here! The food is absolutely delicious and each item is cooked to order so it's super fresh. We had the red snapper and the shrimp Po'Boy with some beignets for dessert, Yum! The service is excellent and the restaurant including the restroom is super clean!!! For food you won't forget, don't forget to stop by and try it!

Believe the hype!!! This place was great!Google only let's make it five stars, but it was a 10 out of 10.The only being the kept it from being as good as mom's cooking at home is that I couldn't go back and get seconds ? But it's so good you're going to want seconds!I had the fried red snapper, mac and cheese, and collard greens (they use turkey in their greens not pork ??). I also had the peach cobbler. Places like this ✊? are too far and few between around here, But it was worth me driving 50 minutes to get here. I will definitely be back.Next time I'll try to take the picture before I start into my food, but it looked so good that I could not help myself. Also, I'm used to most soul food places disappointing on the mac and cheese. They 100% did not!

So very worth the wait and the drive! Got the pulled bbq chicken sandwich with coleslaw on top. Delicious classic root beer to help complete the meal. Quiet location with plenty of parking. Service was prompt and friendly. I'll be back soon!
