What in the world happened why is it closed? We had finally found delicious Mexiccan food!

8 months ago, I said this place would not last a year. Manager calling yelp reviewers "whackos" , misrepresenting facts as proven, attacking reviewers , food wasn't great and way overpriced and here we are. This restaurant is permanently closed. A good lesson on how not to enter a community with your business, conduct yourself a certain way, not deliver the goods and blame customers.

Over priced and not so great quality of food, I'm just comparing to Guadalajara. And after reading the owners response to other reviews it all makes sense why that place won't last long.

If they’re going to be closed for some certain amount of time for maintenance, they should update this information on their website, my wife and I and a group of five we supposed to meet there we looked at their website. It says they’re open till 10 PM. My wife called to do the confirmation as well and when she called says they’re open till 10 PM. When my wife and I got there, they have a sign says closed for uncertain amount of time for maintenance!!!Parking: Parking lot was empty because they’re closed without mentioning that on their website!!!
Recommended dishes: Guacamole

I'm rating them 1 star because we drove 20 minutes to try them out and they're closed due to a "Major Repair" but they didn't bother to update their website.

Most of the food is delicious, but the lack of customer service makes the experience annoying ? and is also dirty ?
We loved our experience at El Patron. The food was really good, although some items may seem pricey, the quantities are great so it's worth it. I got the fajitas for dinner and ended up bringing home leftovers that were my lunch the next two days. Service was great, our waitress was super friendly and fun. The drinks are the only thing I think they could improve upon, they were really good but pretty small for the price. They evidently have a really good happy hour so we're hoping to check that out soon!

Love the food and drinks. Our favorite Mexican food around Murrieta. Only thing is went there twice during the week and doors were closed both days. I hope they aren't going out of business.
