Visiting from NC and decided to check this place out.. SO HAPPY WE DID!! Everything was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every bite & you can tell it was all made with love. I ordered the “Tasty 4” that came with: Jambalaya, Po’ Man Gumbo, Red Beans & Rice, & Shrimp Etoufee. My wife & mother in-law shared the 2x2 (fried chicken & fish) plate, with Greens & Mac & Cheese. We were not expecting to have such good Creole food in Murrieta lol such a pleasant surprise. We’ve been having bad luck with eating out, so this restored faith. Place was clean, staff was very friendly.10/10! Can’t wait to come back!

Catfish was great. Beignets were great. Red beans and rice were great. Yams were great. Cornbread was also great. The owner greeted us as he was bussing a table. Nice staff. Beautiful people. I went back for my daughter's birthday 2 weeks after my 1st visit, and I live in L.A. 2 hour drive should let you know how much I enjoyed the food.

OMG! OMG! OMG! Ladies and Gentlemen, boy do I have an amazing find for you! Ok so first off, I am a huge fan of good ole Southern cooking! I have tried to find many different variations of southern cuisines, but I have yet to find a restaurant that reigns supreme until today! This establishment is in a very well known part of Murrieta, but is in a shopping center that doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic. This is extremely sad for this restaurant, as they have the most amazing and warm food that would melt anyone’s heart and soul.I am always trying to find hidden gems in our community that deserve the right to be celebrated and I found it in Sharon’s Creole Kitchen. This was my experience and I hope you rush on down and post your own amazing experience, as well to help give this business the recognition they deserve. Hold tight for a wild ride! You won’t be disappointed! When entering the establishment, we were immediately greeting by an amazing hostess that seated us promptly. She also took our order and was so gracious, friendly and warm. She was extremely attentive to not only us, but also the other customers that pleasantly dined.Telling you humor and smiles go a long way and she did an amazing job. As we were sitting, waiting for our food we enjoyed looking at the colorful murals, fixtures and enjoying the smells coming from the kitchen. Multiple customers sat around us and my husband and I couldn’t help but try to look at their plates in anticipation of our meals to arrive. The smells alone coming from our neighbors plates overwhelming our senses and heightened our excitement to receive our food. After our food arrived, we weren’t disappointed at all. I ordered the shrimp po’boy with sweet potato fries and red beans and rice. It was honestly the best po’boy I have ever had. It had a spice kick that danced on your tongue that didn’t get overwhelming but just pricked all the right way places on your palette. Inside the po’boy was not only perfectly cooked shrimp, but the combo of the sauce, shrimp and amazing pickles just elevated the dish far beyond belief. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked and had just enough brown sugar to kick it up a notch in flavor. My favorite and the star of the meal for me was the red beans and rice……absolutely amazing. It was absolutely perfection! I’m sorry words cannot even describe how perfect it was. With chunks of sausage, ham and delectable beans I literally could have bathed in it. I am not at all joking. I wouldn’t bathe in it! If you don’t believe me go in and try it. You will not at all be disappointed. I did try my husband and my youngest daughter’s dishes as well and they were amazing as well. The cornbread was a honey cornbread and it was light and fluffy with just the right amount of honey and the muffin wasn’t too dense. My husband had shrimp etoufee. It was so creamy and smooth it. My tastebuds were dancing in celebration. Even my daughter’s lunch, which was only fries and chicken fingers was perfectly cooked and seasoned far better than most restaurants. It was so reminiscence of being in Louisiana. Telling you next time I go I am totally going to order a ton of sides because I really wanted to try the fried okra, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, etc. Whatever you order I bet you will be giving a thumbs up all the way. I can’t wait till our next visit. I hope you take my advice and go visit them and make them your next to go spot sharing with other your experience to bring joy to our community. They deserve high recognition for providing high quality dishes where you can taste the love in every bite. They definitely have put their heart and soul into all their food. Thanks again guys! It was fabulous and we will obviously will be seeing you again!!!!!!!Parking: Huge lot with lots of parkingKid-friendliness: Kid’s menu, friendly environment and staff

I always wait until after I’ve gone to a restaurant about 3-5 times before I post a review to check for consistency. This place is officially top notch. My only gripe was on one occasion my rice & cornbread was a little stale. But I’m so happy that this place exists in this area that they will have my business from now on as long as they take care of me.

Food was great! Our server was awesome too. However I did notice that a more senior server wasn’t as nice to her. Maybe she was training our server, it’s seemed like maybe she spent too much time at our table? They were looking very meanly at our server and it made us feel very uncomfortable. Anyway, great food and atmosphere minus that small moment.

Everything was amazing. I forgot to take a picture of the beignets because they looked too good to be left alone. They came with a yam or caramel dipping sause; both are great. I got the Po'Man Gumbo as seen in the attached image and it was amazing. The atmosphere wasn't visually amazing. I did overhear from the owner that was walking around to different tables that they are still adjusting because this is their second location. The service was great and the owner was friendly checking in on everyone and making jokes.

The worst food ever. Did they change the cooks? I paid over 100 dollars for food that was horribly prepared. Red beans and rice, rice was very sticky gravy had no taste cabbage was disgusting. Please get your old cooks back!

Good food and service makes this a great spot with reasonable prices. Not going to wow anyone with the view or tables but the owners are great folks who make up for it!

So my mother is from out of town, and she grabbed a table, I live 15 minutes down the road so it’s took me a little bit to get there. As I arrived, I was greeted by the waitress who was a little heavyset with locs and she had multiple piercings, which is fine, I didn’t get to get her name so I have to use a description. We sat down. My mom had already ordered her wine and I was asked immediately what I would like to drink. I got a lemonade. It took us about maybe three minutes to decide what we wanted , we placed the order and the waiter walked away. A Caucasian couple came in. And immediately started demanding services being very rude to the waitress. She took their order just like she took ours only their order came in before ours. Mind you it’s just me my mom and that couple in the restaurant my mother got there before me so atp we had been waiting for about 30 minutes so how she didn’t put the ticket in is beyond me. Me and my mom watch as the chef, the cashier and all the waitresses sit back talk laugh and banter as we’re waiting and not receiving any type of service. Finally, after the 45th minute , the waitress decides to come over and tell us that she made a mistake and forgot to put the ticket in. When we receive the food, all the sides were fine but I did not like the pork chop. It tasted like they took it out the packaging and just put it in grease. It just taste like fried meat with no seasoning. I asked for it to be taken off the bill, and instead of her being understanding, she rolled her eyes huffed and puffed and told us that she would have to see. From then on, she was very passive aggressive. We asked for the bill she gave us the bill and then she would go back talking to her coworkers. I had to get up and ask her to bring us to go plates and then when we got to go plates, I had to physically go up to the register what she was talking to her coworkers and ask her for the bag I had to go back up there and ask her if she could come take the money that was on the side of the table. Mind you, every time I went up there I was so polite, and she was rolled her eyes and be so nasty to me, for no reason like I was Doing her a disservice .It was absolutely ridiculous. Then as we were leaving, she very sarcastically told us to have a good day. I feel like security cameras need to be pulled and this needs to become a learning experience for her because she has absolutely no experience waiting on tables. My mom came out of town and I wanted to have a nice lunch with her and she really prevented that with her passive aggressive and entitled attitude. I absolutely would not recommend this place The food wasn’t that bad, but the service will prevent me from ever stepping foot in that establishment again. Happy Black History Month.
