We brought my sister-in-law here for a birthday lunch. Positives: The avocado bowls were delicious. Orange scones great. Turkey sconewich was average. Savory scone inedible. The service was horrible. The girl who took our order was abrupt and unfriendly. After waiting 30 minutes for our food - the place was not busy, I stood up to go to the counter to check on our food. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a paper bag sitting at the end of the counter & went to look inside - where I found our food. The girl did not take my name when she took my order, and this being our first time here, I had no idea the food wasn't brought to our table. My husband wasn't happy with his savory scone. He only ate a few bites and asked if he could exchange it for a different scone. She told him, "I will replace it this time, but I won't do it again for free." I ordered an Arnold Palmer. It was 3/4 filled with ice. When I asked about a refill, they said there would be a charge. For the 3 of us to eat - without a tip - it was almost $80. Needless to say, we won't be back. Not because of the food but because of the service. The ladies - I'm guessing teens to early 20s - need retraining- especially when it comes to making the customers feel welcomed and appreciated. After reading some of the other recent reviews, management needs to address the same concerns as mine.

My friend and I came here, Saturday the 20th, and the baristas were super rude right away. I ordered an avocado toast and I didn't realize it had garlic aioli so I asked them to remake it and one of the baristas rolled her eyes. The other barista asked if it was an allergy or preference, I didn't understand why they asked me that. When I got the toast the avocado was not ripe. My friend asked about a drink and the barista just shook her head and had a mad look on her face. They were all very short with us, not very kind.
Crafted scones have been my go-to place whenever we're visiting Murrieta during the day. You can not be disappointed with whatever you choose, whether it's savory or sweet. The Bacon and chives scones was my number one favorite, and I was bummed that they didn't have it the last time I visited, but I was still very happy with everything else that I got. Everything is so fluffy and fresh, and you can tell how good they are because the place is always popping. The girls behind the counter are always friendly and give you suggestions if needed.
