Having spent 4 days with the family in Napa to enjoy the fine dining and wine, I can honestly say this was the best dining experience we had. This is not only a restaurant but a farm to table experience. Before dinner we strolled the grounds and saw the gardens, chickens, and vineyards which supply the restaurant. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was evident in every dish. This was elevated dining and not just eating good food. The waitstaff were excellent and attentive but not intrusive. This place is a must for any visit to the Napa region. Plan to get there early to give yourself time to stroll the grounds.

$55 corkage is high for the area. The atmosphere and service are great, but the food prices are a bit all over the place.Kid-friendliness: Clean high chairs with accommodating staff.

Having frequented numerous esteemed restaurants in Napa, including the renowned French Laundry, I must admit that Bear has earned its place as my absolute favorite in the valley. From the moment we stepped through the door, the warmth of the service enveloped us, setting the stage for an unforgettable culinary journey. What truly sets Bear apart is its commitment to simplicity, freshness, and quality ingredients, all expertly woven together with intriguing flavor profiles that elevate each dish to new heights of culinary excellence. The concept of "progressive" American cuisine truly shines through, capturing the essence of California's culinary spirit while infusing it with the innovative flair of the talented chefs behind the scenes. So enamored were we with Bear that we made the unprecedented decision to cancel reservations at two other establishments in favor of returning to indulge in its offerings three times during our stay. Each visit proved to be a revelation, with every bite a testament to the chefs' skill and dedication to their craft. In sum, I cannot praise Bear enough. From the impeccable service to the inspired culinary creations, every aspect of our dining experience exceeded expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Bear to anyone seeking an unparalleled gastronomic adventure in Napa Valley.Thank you for creating such a remarkable establishment. I eagerly anticipate my next visit and the opportunity to savor the delights of Bear once more.Dietary restrictions: They were very accommodating for all allergies (incl Gluten free)

Went here for brunch. The food was really good, especially the egg souffle on the breakfast sandwich and the vegetable platter. Everything was really fresh. The severs were attentive and pleasant. The only bad thing I can say about it is they need to step up their coffee game. It tasted like 7eleven coffee in a nice

Bear is a great experience. The setting is beautiful, quintessential Napa Valley. The food is excellent quality, clean ingredients, locally sourced, seasonally inspired, healthy, creative & flavorful with good variety. We had a party of 6 for brunch and it was just a wonderful dining experience, with friendly staff, great meal pace, with time to enjoy the food, people & beauty of the architecture and surroundings.Parking: Has Tesla superchargers.

Ambiance is amazing. Delicious bloody Mary's which hit the spot after a day of wine tasting and the breakfast sandwich was good and fresh.

Can't rave enough about this place. 10/10 recommend. Everything was amazing. From staff to service to food. We made reservations a couple of hours before arriving. The restaurant sits on a beautiful resort. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit outside which was super comfy. We dined for lunch and the options were amazing and the food was phenomenal. Will definitely try out this place again to explore the dinner menu and possibly stay at the resort as well.

The food was fabulous, the service was very cordial and accommodating, but slow with too much coverage for the number of servers. The ambiance was relaxing and lovely

Bear restaurant at Stanley Ranch, an Auberge property provides a gorgeous setting. The menu is simple but thoughtful, integrating Japanese ingredients, fermentation techniques, and high quality produce and meat. The kitchen is open allowing you to see the team working in unison, the bar is a great and includes some wonderful alcohol alternatives, the wine list is thorough and interesting, and the service has been fantastic. Definitely a special occasion restaurant but my favorite place to meet friends or hang out solo at the bar. Highlights include the trout roe chips and dips, crispy rice with nuac chom, and the quail with quail liver mousse. 50B
