They had the open sign i walked in, the waitress said hi how are you. Then took a second to say oh we're closed. Im like well thanks because the open sign is on, the door is unlocked, and it's not 8 pm. Then she started telling the staff in back in spanish well we're closed anyways. Not knowing i speak fluent spanish. I only wanted a drink, but now i don't want to return

This is a small burger spot but a tasty meal is always ready for you. They have a large menu to choose from.

I really must recommend the Jalapeno Avacado burger. If you like spicy, this burger is on point. Delicious FRESH jalapenos, not those weak pickled ones. Fresh avacado and a well seasoned burger. The fish and chips are good, I'd recommend ordering the fries well done.Staff needs work. They often forget about customers. They also have a problem that they call some of the burgers on their menu CHEESEBURGERS, when they don't have cheese... Yeah... That's a Hamburger, not a cheeseburger.Personally I do not like the sides here, they all taste like the frozen fries, onion rings, etc you buy from Smart & Final. They just aren't worth ordering. I no longer order sides here, just the burgers, unless it's the fish n chips. I would really like it if they worked on the sides.

No thanks. My serverxwas rude, not scially adaptable, negative experuence, overrated, too exoensive fir food i got and needs decent management for adjusting foid based on high pricing.I only do if daughter wants the small medium, 10 dolkar milkxshaje but ivrefuse to buycanythong for myself as i dont feel therecis enough vslye for the dolkat. If theycwerecthe lady take out in tosb, id go out of town toxavoid big D. Its atmosphere is flat and seating is not comfirtable abf it feeks dirty . If it gas vathroons they musy have been on oitsude of builingxas being inside feels like a birdcage without any good ambience. There us parkingwith awkwsrd arrange and pkenty of walking to get into tiny building with attached cold or hot large room. Equally cold in atmospherexas the restvof the tge buikding i callca dive.seating incattached building is not comfirtable, is cheap in appearance, was dirty, and I imagibe it to be hard to clean and i would not be able to work in that atmosphere or location unless a new building with better amenities is created. I do not know if rodents have access to this old old building. I would wNt a broom sweep inspection when they first open in AM.Its hard to be in a tiny room and notcsee acsink for hand washing, however many others come herexand love it, like the food. Hand- menu not available for each table but a sort-of- a -menu is at the counter hard to stand and try to read. No, Thank you.

Big D’s makes the best cheeseburgers, for a regular joint, in the county.

Beloved by locals, Big D must rely on nostalgia because its burgers are inferior to the local competition. It's sad, but the $10.99 cheeseburger has a very slim patty that is tough to cook without being dry. The sesame seed-topped burger bun was fresh and the lettuce crisp, but the burger's best attribute was its selection of cheeses. The reheated curly fries were so disappointing, too. The menu also includes shakes, various fried items, including fish and shrimp, and an option to have a hot dog in many ways. If I find myself here again, I'll try the chili dog or a shake.

Food was mid at best. Overpriced for what you get - Big D was anything but. Staff was not per se rude, but was not helpful and was much more interested in talking to each other than helping customers. Honestly felt like they were bothered by our presence...would suggest any other burger place.

So I always see a lot of cars here. So I thought I would try it. I got a bacon burger and the patty was about as thin as In and Out's patty and it was burned. The curly fries had no flavor. It was dirty inside.

It is hard to compare with any other place. It is also a bit pricey compared to other major places such as In N out and Gotts.I would say that price is similar to Gotts and the taste is less than In N out.

I decided to give this place a go bc it looked old school, was off the beaten path and didn't look too busy. Place was clean, servers super friendly and engaging and helped with some recommendations. I decided to go with the Hawaiian burger, sweet potato fries, drink and cookie, which I was told it was homemade. I made sure to eat everything (with the exception of the cookie) bc it cost me upwards of $30. The pros: good quality ingredients served fresh, friendly servers. Burger had good flavor with Canadian bacon and avocado. The cons: Everything was al la carte which made for a more expensive lunch. Cookie was crunchy and not very edible. Ratio of ingredients to price was low: the burger had a skinny patty, one pineapple slice and there was more bun leftover. I'm glad I tried a new spot, but unless they work out some combo deals, too pricey.
