We arrived around 5pm after touring the Castello de Amorosa. To start we had the Shrimp and Pork Potstickers as well as the house smoked bone marrow. The potstickers were delicious. I'd definitely get those again. This was my first time having bone marrow so I didn't know what to expect but it was pretty good. For my entree I had the short smoked salmon. I've never had chard so well cooked. It was absolutely delicious alongside the salmon and potato purée. Our waiter was so personable and attentive. He even listened when we talked about my birthday a few days before and had ice cream brought to the table for dessert. This restaurant is definitely on my list for when I return to Napa.

My favorite!!! Beautiful place with great food. Servers could be a bit more friendly and attentive, based on the few times I've been there, but it's not bad enough to keep me away.

Paid $60 for a steak that can be topped by Applebees. More chew than swallow. The Special cocktail (old fashioned) was warm and half shot. Service was actually very attentive, perhaps to make up for the kitchen and bar (the drink was wam, did it sit for awhile) The building, the architecture , interior decoration is a blend of 1960s, 1980s, and some stone to draw you in with no acoustic balance which equates an elementary lunch room. This is simply my experience on a Saturday night. Perhaps staff, chefs, etc changed or were off that night. You decided.

We travelled all the way from San Jose to experience fine dining at Brix, following remarkable reviews of the restaurant and having the option of a vegetarian menu.Ambience: The ambience of the restaurant is nice and reminds of culinary experience in France amidst vineyards.Food: Vegetarian Menu was highly disappointing. We checked the menu before we made a booking at the restaurant and were happy with the dishes offered. At arrival, we learnt that one of the dishes was replaced which did not bother us and we were still happy to try it.For starters we ordered beans Tempura with Mustard sauce and butter lettuce salad with burrata. The Tempura was average and was not evenly coated in batter. The highlight of the dish was only the mustard sauce. The butter lettuce with burrata had a description that it would contain seared tangerines and have a zesty citrus vinaigrette. The salad leaves were crispy and fresh, burrata tasted really good as well. However, there were only 6 or 7 leaves of lettuce, 3 small pieces of tangerines, few drops of hazelnut and barely any dressing. To us, the salad did not justify the description, as the hero of the dish were supposed to be tangerines and there was no taste of tangerine. Few shavings of horseradish, which did not have any taste as they were too thinly sliced. Apart from understanding that used ingredients had premium quality, I don't know what I ate. Moreover we learnt that not all used vegetables were from their farm, which was one of the highlights for us to visit Brix. To us pricing of the dish was overly exaggerated for what was offered. For main course we ordered the newly introduced Spimach Gnocci with Goats Cheese and Mushroom Risotto.Gnocchi with Goats cheese was covered with a thick layer of Cream Sauce. We digged in the sauce and struggled to find Gnocci pieces. The Gnocci was overcooked and melted with the sauce. We were confused whether we were eating vegetables or Gnocci. The bechamel sauce was entirely curdled, possibly due to wrong timing of cheese and lemon while cooking. By the end of the day, the dish was a mere lump of curdled sauce with few pieces of vegetables thrown in with lemon flavour, just nicely presented. At any restaurant, I have never been disappointed with Gnocci more. The Mushroom risotto with a touch of truffle was decent, but not over the top. Someone who may not like truffle flavour, Brix may not have a single main course vegetarian dish that may please vegetarian taste buds. From the main course experience we were highly disappointed with the experience and shared it with the staff. We even received a wrong table bill. We politely asked for our bill. The bill was in $$$ and we did not feel it was worth it.So overall, we may not visit Brix again for vegetarian food.Vegetarian options: Disappointing, not worth the money

Horrible timing out of the bar and kitchen!!! Waited 30 min for a drinks, appetizers never came lunch 45 min after we sat and ordered. Bat not busy... bartender too busy buffing glasses and talking to bar customers. Server ... well what could she do when your bartender and kitchen staff isn't delivering! People remember to tip your server if she's doing “her” job!

We enjoyed attentive service and unique food. The deviled eggs were unique and delicious. Favorite dishes were fried chicken, ravioli with short rib meat and two salads: beet and baby hearts....The Merry Edwards pinot noir was killer!

What an incredible spot! The bar service was flawless, and the food was simply delectable. We enjoyed the beef tartare and fried green beans, along with a few drinks. It was the perfect way to cap off our enjoyable day in Napa. I'm eagerly anticipating returning to sample more of their menu; everything that emerged from the kitchen looked stunning. The staff's positivity and warmth added to the experience, and I can imagine this place being even more delightful in the summer with its outdoor seating area. We'll definitely be returning!

First the service was excellent. Our server was Carlos, he was super hospitable. He was nice enough to honor our request to meet the sous chef Luna... We had the gem salad which was refreshing and tasty. Followed by the bone marrow (special that night) which was the best I have had so far, compared to 4 other restaurants. Entrées were sea scallops which with every bite mixing the puree and mushrooms was delicious. Mushroom risotto was to die for. Best risotto I have had. This is definitely at the top of the list in the Napa Valley for us.

Brix is an amazing spot for that quintessential Napa valley meal. Beautiful ambience, amazing food and spectacular service. The back garden patio is one of the best seats in the house. A great experience!

Brix was good! Came here for a bachelorette dinner and the service was amazing! They helped us split some of the dishes because they knew were going to share it family style. The food was good too but the wait for some of the items was a bit long. But I would definitely come back
