Carpe Diem is always my go to place to take my friends when they come to visit me in Napa. The food and the drinks is so delicious, make sure to order their espresso martini's!

We came for happy hour after attending a wedding reception. The place overall has potential. However, when we got there, on a Friday night, it was pretty sparse. The food had potential but DEFINITELY needed seasoning. The star of the show was the bartender, I forgot his name, but his drinks were very well- balanced and incredibly tasty. In spite of their incredibly underwhelming and sparse stocked bar. I might go back one more time to try some other food choices in hopes that they'll be better. But, I'll DEFINITELY be back for drinks with the aforementioned bartender because they were that good.

From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the staff, it was over the top with friendliness!! And then came the wine (huge selection) and the food ... amazing... we had chicken parmesan, short ribs with risotto and pork Milanese, all couldn't have been better! And the creme brulee, oh my goodness...pure happiness!!

We were very impressed with this restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was top-notch! The food presentation was also impressive. Very reasonable pricing considering this is top-grade stuff! (and plenty of free parking right across the street!)

We were so thrilled with our experience. It was a more European, intentionally slower paced dinner. The food was outstanding, the service incredible, and we will be back! We loved their wine and cocktails, and every bite we had was well presented and well executed. Highly recommend.
We were a party of five and the Restaurant was very busy Saturday night. We had a very extended wait for our table, but ownership was more than gracious. We were comped an appetizer and a desert. Our food and the service was outstanding, definitely will return.
Delicious dinner! Beet salad very fresh. Tender calamari. Tasty braised short ribs fall off the fork. My husband really enjoyed the duck! Excellent service. Attentive, courteous waiters. I will definitely be back!

What a treat! Made reservations on a Friday night for our anniversary. Wanted something low key. They extended their restaurant week promotion so we indulged and got the 3 courses plus their wine promo. Amazing braised short rib and the linguini pomodoro was so good. Many restaurants do not get the wine temp correct but Carpe Diem nailed it. When we told the owner it was our anniversary he brought us some champagne. We don't go out much but we will definitely go back to Carpe Diem!
