we went here to get a to go order. The place was cute on the inside and the yard looks amazing! Can't wait to come back when it gets warm! We only got bean burritos, but they were delicious! Best I'd had in a long time. The chips and salsa were very good as well. We will be back!

We came an hour a half before closing on a Saturday. It was pretty empty, only two other tables occupied. The waitress was kind and attentive the whole time. The food was ok. Chips and salsa were the highlight. I tried the Chile relleno and cheese enchilada plate. The beans and rice were good, and the enchilada was better than the Chile relleno. They just lacked flavor. The Jamaica and horchata Aguas Fresca were yummy! I'd return to give them another shot and try something different.

Today I spent 20 minutes waiting to be served and no waitress ever arrived, you had us go but we found the Marías restaurant 2 minutes away and a good change, the food was very delicious and the service was very good.

I really hate to have to write such a bad review, but I have to keep it real. The ladies were really nice but other than that and the Diet Coke being okay, nothing else was. I went here to try the chicken soup that is on their website. When I got to the restaurant, that soup was not on the menu. I said, cool, I'll compare the huevos rancheros here to my favorite Napa spot, Hacienda. Boy was that a mistake. I ordered the huevos rancheros with whole beans. The dish arrived with refried beans. The rancheros sauce tasted store bought and was not good at all. The salad was bland and boring, the guacamole tasted like the one at Taco Bell. It was just bad. I ate more than I should have so now I have calories remorse for wasting my caloric intake on such a horrible dish. The decor is very colorful and festive. I looked at the website again and saw they have a ton of locations around the US. Unfortunately, when you hit menu, the Detroit menu is the one that displays. Hard to know unless you know to look. The Napa menu is not on the webpage. I can now check this place off of my list of tries.

I love the chicken they do here, in particular the chicken enchiladas! The chicken was tender and juicy, packed with spices and flavor, topped off with goey melted cheese and a rich mole sauce. I'm still dreaming of it hours later. We showed up with a large group and our server did a great job taking orders and serving 25 people. The chips were crunchy and freshly fried. The salsas had a little kick to them, but also tons of flavor. I had a crunchy taco as well, which was greasy, yet delicious. My wife tried the beef on a tostada which she said was good, but didn't compare with the chicken. The presentation of all the food was bright, beautifully plated, and very satisfying. Next time I'm in Napa, I will remember to hit this place up again.

Super casual style Mexican food. Burritos to go, campechana for here (don't ask just get it--amazing seafood dish), just go and get their food. Beer/wine only so no margs, but they get a pass for their great service and food!
The place is super nice, the place is cheerful... but, unfortunately the attention mmm is not the Major, the problem is that the waiters are not attentive to everything, I think that if it didn't matter whose table it was and they asked the customer If you need something... that would be perfect, but no, you have to wait for the waiter to see you again to be able to order, that's the only thing, you have to be more attentive, everyone is a team...

Absolute love El Rancho Grande! Their burritos are our favorites, but last time we tried the shredded chicken quesadilla and the grilled chicken nachos - both delicious, and we ordered them to go. The quality of the food each time combined with the great customer service can't be beat. The restaurant is always very clean too. Can't wait for our next trip.
