The food was delicious. Got the tuna salad sandwich on a croissant, a grilled cheese sandwich, and a bag of chips for over $35. When arriving at around 1 PM on a Wednesday, the store was not full. However, the wait took a while. There were a few guests before us, and it took about 20 to 30 minutes to receive two sandwiches. Six dollars. My 12 ounce can of La Croix was SIX DOLLARS. My coworker's 12 ounce can of A&W root beer was similarly priced. If you're not so wealthy that this kind of thing doesn't matter to you, make sure to ask the register how much your items are, because they're certainly not priced in the cooler and you're not provided with an itemized receipt unless you explicitly ask for one. Eat in or out. This little grocery in the Village at the Meritage Resort & Spa has something for everyone. We ordered sandwiches and snacks to take to the Gen 7 wine shop where we were going to have a tasting. Gen 7 does not offer foodSadly we both found our sandwiches a bit dry.
