Intimate winery with great service and fantastic wines. Would definitely recommend if you are in Napa. I have been here with both small and big groups and would recommend for either occasion.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking Fontenella as our first tasting and I immediately knew the rest of the day was going to be down hill from there! They definitely set the bar and they set it high! This was hands down one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. It was fun, inviting, and educational. It felt very exclusive since there was only one other party there. Dustin, Karen, and Marianne were the epitome of hospitable. I look forward to visiting again!

Make sure your Napa wine tasting trip includes a reservation at Fontanella! The five of us had a relaxing and casual tasting with the Fairy Godmother of Wine, Marianna Sera. Like seriously, that's the title on her business card! She did NOT disappoint! She was a delight with her witty humor and quick responses to anything we threw her way. Hopefully, the weather will be beautiful, as it was when we were there, and you'll be able to sit on the patio and gaze out at the vineyard as you are tasting. We met the dogs and the winemakers while we were there as well. Really, just a great stop on a great trip! Others have commented that the price of the wines and the tasting fees are high. Meh - you get what you pay for! We loved every moment we spent there. Joined the wine club. We'll be back.

We had an amazing tasting experience. The setting is beautiful and Evan, our wine consultant, was absolutely fabulous--personable, helpful, and not pushy. Felt like we were sitting in his living room just enjoying the setting and a glass of wine. The wines themselves were amazing. It is rare that every poor is something you enjoy and would buy. I absolutely felt this way about the Fontanella wines. The tasting was well worth it and my family and I had a lovely time!

Wow- this winery went above and beyond!!!! We had to make a stop here as our last name is SO similar. The winery is gated, the grounds are beautiful, the staff is even friendlier. We were greeted with wine glasses and our first tasting upon walking up- very nice touch. We brought our dog and she was also spoiled. Our names were printed on the tasting menu which was a cute. The tastings were great- we even toured the barrel room and got to sample. 10/10 recommend.
