Wow Pappy is the man!!! I’ve never been so engaged during an experience like this! He really knows his stuff and knows how to entertain! I always brings friends who are visiting town for a tasting and always in hope that pappy will be there!!! The drinks are great and we always leave with a bottle or two. Keep it up guys thank you for a great time!!

Stopped by on a whim while the rest of my crew was shopping nearby and ended up there for a half hour caught up in Pappy's engaging stories and throughly entertaining tasting and tutorial. Don't miss this gem and if you see a gentleman with a luxurious white beard, be sure to ask him for a tasting.Left with a thorough appreciation for the brandy and a yearly membership. Thanks, Pappy!

On June 18 2023 , our group attempted to do a tasting at the distillery. The hospitality coordinator was very condescending when explaining the difference between a tasting and tour. He even was rude to another staff during our presence My sister is a member and we were trying to get our free tasting which is included in the membership. I understand if he could not accommodate us but the manner in which he spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. I find it hard to believe that he would be in charge of hospitality when he has no clue how to communicate with guests. I am very disappointed in our experience and I would not recommend anyone get a membership to an establishment that does not welcome its members and potential members.

Went to the original location, and was told they were closed for a private event. Recommended we go to the Oxbow location. Arrived at 5:15 and was told we could not be accommodated, even though they closed at 7. Very disappointing as it was our last day in Napa.

Visited the Tasting Room & Bar Shop at the Oxbow Public Market the weekend of October 7th, 2022. Had a great time doing the tastings, learned a cool new way to drink alcohol that doesn't burn, and had an overall fun time. The products were great; so what's the problem you ask? I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a membership so they would ship product to me a few times a year as I don't live near Napa. I signed up, and they mailed me the first shipment with no problems, but then, they charged my CC around 12/6/22 and sent me an email saying my shipment was on its way. Well today is 1/25/23 and I still have not received my shipment. I called at the end of December and left a VM asking where my shipment was; and no response back. I sent a couple emails in early January; and still, NO response. I finally contacted AMEX and disputed this charge and got my money back. In one of my emails I asked them to cancel my membership and never got a response, but earlier today, I did get an email stating my membership was cancelled. So I guess there is that.Buyer beware on the membership shipments; and don't expect any type of customer service or response if you try to contact them either by phone or email.I was excited to have this membership; it's a shame it turned into such a farce!!

Never have I left a tasting with such a bitter taste in my mouth. All I can really feel is a sense of regret. I felt almost pressured into purchasing, and no real accomodations for my wants or a way to leave me feeling happy about the purchase. I wanted to buy bitters, two of their glasses, and a brandy, and figured that would cover the cost of my half flight. I was told I'd need another bottle to get that off. Already so far into the purchase I didn't want to just leave, so I chose a bottle at random. Pappy (I believe is his name), showed me the total cost, and I didn't see the glasses in there. Hoping he would redeem himself and give me the two shot glasses with the almost 100$ purchase, I reminded him. Rather than laughing and saying we could just have the glasses, he proceeded to add it to the total. This in itself wouldn't have been a big deal, if the whole experience wasn't so empty. Rather than being involved I felt lectured at as the brandy's were described. A majority of my fiancee and my questions were ignored. Including when I was asking for bitters recommendations, he ignored everything I was saying when describing how I wanted my bitters, and spent even more time tasting coffee bitters. We were even ignored and forced to wait when we had mentioned multiple times we were in a rush. I sit writing now, stressed and late to my reservation. The two shot glasses I spent 16$ (for both) on will most likely be given to goodwill, as every drink served in them will be ruined by the memory. All I ask is please do me the dignity of not responding with an automated response to this. I just wanted to let out some of my frustrations so I can move on. Pappy is a great salesman, since he did get the sale, but a horrible PR. I will never return.
