This place is great. There are a lot of tasting rooms in downtown Napa, but most are overhyped. This place is right off 1st street and has some of the best wine I have tasted, and the service is excellent. I really enjoy coming here because it feels comfortable and enjoyable, but also the wine is just freaking great.Pro tip: try the Cabernet Franc and ask for Daniel - he’s a great dude and makes the experience wonderful.

Had the most amazing tasting with Daniel today. From Chardonnay to Cab Franc. The ambiance of the tasting room is 12/10. Comfortable, classy and also so welcoming. Lithology?! Take all my money. Nothing beats this downtown, high end wine and welcoming environment. Don’t miss this stop on your next visit!!!

It’s a fantastic place to taste wine ! The service is great and also the collection of wines.Don , who is the manager, was great to talk to and knowledgeable.The ambience is perfect and it’s in napa downtown ! Can’t go wrong. Must try !I wish they had an option for charcuterie plate or some cheese options to pair with. They do offer pistachio or corn nuts.

What an incredible experience! My wife and I visited Napa for our honeymoon and attended multiple tastings and wineries. We decided to visit New Frontier on a whim, and agreed (rare occurrence) that it was by far our favorite. Dan was such a great host and taught us so much about the winemaking industry and the New Frontier brand. He was responsive to our different tastes and provided us with an amazing tasting "spread". We spent over two hours here and would've stayed longer, it was that pleasant. Definitely worth a visit!

The tasting room was well designed, featuring a variety of tables and seating options. It created a cozy atmosphere perfect for wine tasting. The wines were excellent and unique, with a lot of heritage and heart. The best part was our host, Dan. He was courteous and friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He made the experience worthwhile, his expertise and amiable personality bringing the experience to a personable level.

I walked in and sat down, looked at menu and ordered a half glass, since I just stopped in before dinner. I wouldn't say the wine was anything to write home about and service was not the best. They were in the side room for 15 minutes chatting before they came out and I asked for my check. Looks like a cool vibe.
Stopped in before our reservation across the street. Daniel was great and had good knowledge of the wines served. Very cool, unique decor inside and is very relaxing. Will come back to enjoy some more wine.

Stopped in tonight on a whim for my birthday, pre dinner drinks. Daniel was informative and so pleasant. He truly made my day and was so welcoming. We aren't up in Napa frequently and can be intimidated by the wine scene in this area but he made it palatable and so pleasant.

The wines are fantastic, but more than that, I feel that Daniel is the best host in the Napa Valley. His warmth, patience, and subject matter expertise we're all exceptional. My wife and I came in for a tasting and ended up (gladly!) buying much more wine than we anticipated thanks to the wide variety of tastings and insights Daniel shared with us. He took the time to understand what we liked, didn't like, and how we might mix wines we can drink today with recommendations on what we could cellar for great results in a few years. If you get a chance to visit, ask for Daniel and see if you can get a taste of their GSM! I'll be returning to NFW as long as Daniel is involved. Thank you, Daniel!
