Heard from a friend a few months ago that this was the best burrito truck he has ever had. I finally stopped by on a Friday night to try it, and he was right. The burrito was huge, and the flavor was amazing. I'm not sure what they are doing different, but the flavor is very unique, and delicious. I went with the super steak burrito, and ate the whole thing because I couldn't stop eating it, it was so good. Do yourself a favor if you are in the area, and grab a bite to eat from here.

I'm in Napa to pick up some stuff. Decided I needed some lunch and wanted Mexican food -- but wasn't in the mood for franchise stuff. Asked my phone for directions, and it sent me to Origenes Taco Truck. I was offered homemade chorizo as soon as I strolled on up...but alas, I'm sorta trying to go meat-free for awhile. So I settled for a veggie burrito. Spicy. Like me. (Don't tell my wife.) Long story short: the burrito was killer. David, the gent behind the counter is clearly passionate about what he and his family do. I'll be back for more awesome food. And for all you Napians and tourists out there, he's opening a brick and mortar restaurant soon, called, I believe, Balvena's (or something like that). If it's half as good as what I just ate, it's going to be killer. Gotta go. Food coma is about to hit.....zzzzzzzzz

Amazing! The Birria Taco has a good tangy taste with the Mild Sauce. The customer service is amazing! The lady working is very communicative. My first-time experience is amazing! I will come here again! Try it, you won't regret it!

One of my favorite go-tos when I'm in the area. Great pastor and uniquely flavorful carne asada; great spice blend with a little cinnamon. Always very friendly. The guy reviewing that there's a bit of "an English problem" can learn some Spanglish or go eat mayonnaise sandwiches. I've never had to speak anything other than English here, which shouldn't count for anything, the food and service speaks for itself.

This is the best food truck I've found in Napa. Convenient location and never takes long at all. The woman who I assume is the owner is very nice and tailors to my minimal burrito ingredients of meat cheese and rice while my wife loads up her super burrito and gets it spicy. We will continue to support Origenes as long as they keep producing their high quality food and service!! Thank you for being our one stop shop for our Mexican food cravings.

Not the worst I have had so far but close to it. My goal is to go to all the food trucks in Napa. I get a chicken taco and a steak taco and a super burrito and a steak or chicken quesadilla . Or replace the quesadilla with a specialty they do. They are cash only, but there's a atm inside the 76 that is sometimes out of order. There is a real English issue here. The burrito is 8 inch long and 4 inch wide- medium quality meat dry and ok flavor not good but ok. The steak taco same meat but flavorless. The chicken taco medium low quality, and even though I got the marinated chicken it was barely not dry but flavorless none the less. The quesadilla was like having a tortilla folded over with unseasoned meat inside and they said they put pickled salad on one side of it, but it was a bland regular salad instead. Never returning! There are much better trucks out there. Follow me on yelp or check to see my reviews on other trucks. So many are claiming each truck is the best or has the best specialty item but if you can't get the basics to a great standard how can you expect someone to try the specialty. I'll give you honest reviews without biased. Pass this truck up and you will thank me later.

My go-to taco truck! Great quality and taste. Everything on the menu is delicious. My favorite is al pastor and carnitas as well as the Baja tacos. Must try. You won't regret it!

Origenes is the ultimate gas station convenience store fast food. Back in the day, they were the Jalisco Truck. They're right beside a Union 76 gas station. In a sense, it's best to go on a Saturday when the 76 parking lot is less chaotic, tho their hours are shorter&they do catering events (they were off to cater a concert at a Sonoma winery this afternoon) Their tacos el pastor is excellent. While they no longer make empanadas, their Baja fish tacos are one of their specials. The fish is delicately grilled, with a sumptuous chipotle sauce. They give you the option for mild or spicy. I went for spicy. The pickled carrots&fresh limes made a great accompaniment. The fish is beer battered- but while some places tout that they use Dos Equis or Bohemian, this one is a delicious, anonymous contribution. Origenes is a culinary gem hidden in plain sight.
