Never been disappointed at sift. Their cupcakes, macarons, cake bites, and whoopie pies are all so good! Love them because they aren’t too sweet and have great flavor and the prices are great too. Recommend for sure :)

My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday with cupcakes, but even though he called a few days in advance, the cupcakes were not ready yet. After waiting for what felt like an eternity, they spelled my name wrong on the cupcake so he left.

Our overall experience was disappointing. We stopped in for some quick desserts, but the food was not that great and the service was terrible. The person serving us was not friendly and had an attitude. Visiting from the East Coast, I am not impressed and would not recommend this place!

I'm writing this review after ordering two birthday cakes and picking up cupcakes on separate occasions. I've been consistently impressed with the quality of the cakes and cupcakes. However, I'm giving it four stars due to my frustration with something as little as ordering candles.The first time, I ordered number sparkler candles that failed to light up, even with the efforts of three adults. This was particularly awkward to say the least because it was a surprise 50th birthday dinner for a girlfriend.The second time, I noticed on their website that they listed party cake candles (12-pack) for $4.99, so I ordered them to simplify things. I live in San Jose, so my visits are usually to pick up cakes and be on time for my destination. Imagine my frustration when I discovered, en route to pick up the cake, that something as essential as birthday candles wasn't available. They had to credit me back my money. According to an employee, they hadn't carried candles for a while. Why wasn’t I notified but only found out because I called the bakery to confirm my pick-up order? This made me late to meet my friends because I had to find candles elsewhere. I’m an empathetic persons so being tardy is inconsiderate of others.I believe they should update their website/mobile portal to reflect what they actually offer. It's frustrating to offer a service, albeit minimal to some customers, that doesn't benefit customers but, instead, leads to a frustrating experience.

The last time I went to a Sift was several years ago so was ready to indulge. It was about 15 minutes before they closed but they still had some lovely cupcakes out. I got the Samoa and Snickerdoodle and my husband got the chocolate one which I can't remember the exact name. I ate the Samoa one for dessert after dinner that day and it was decadent and moist. The Snickerdoodle I ate a couple days later and it was still moist. A great treat to be had

Another hidden gem. I googled desserts near me and found this place. The macaroons are delicious. I had the red velvet, the lemon & pink lemonade cup cake and I can't STOP taking about them. That pink lemonade will make you SLAP yo' momma. My husband slammed the macaroons down one right after the other, we tried one of each. He said they were the best he's ever had, the lemon, salty caramel and passion fruit were all good but he wanted more salty caramel the next day.

Stopped in since the outside looked adorable and had heard from friends about this place. The display is clean and they have options of cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, and cruffles. I had never heard of a cruffle, it is a mix of cookie dough and chocolate truffle. It was a perfect two bite treat. I also got a champagne cupcake that was perfectly moist. Will be back for a cruffle and to try other treats.

We tried 2 of their cupcakes the berry cheesecake and the Samoa along with a couple of their broken macarons. Oh my so good. Lots of flavor in all. Not overly sweet. The cupcakes were moist and not dry at all. Their truffle cake things. Skip those not good. Just an odd texture inside. We went back to get another for the road and managed to hit on their 50th anniversary and they gave us a bunch free

Cupcakes were delicious and looked beautiful for my baby shower. Choose to do 4 dozen of raspberry cupcake flavor with 4 different frostings and they were a hit! The customer service was awesome and helped me out when I had tons of questions and even let me pick them up early per my request. I would totally use them again.
