Food was terrible which was disappointing since this was our choice for Easter Brunch. Both of our entrees were missing key parts to make it the dish that was advertised. Service was ok, would have been nice to have been checked on while we were eating and then I would have mentioned the issue about the missing ingredients rather than after the fact when we were done. The server did his best and did accommodate our bill which was appreciated. The atmosphere was good, enjoyed the live music and the view was very pretty. However, I would not go back for food again.

This was my birthday reservation and it was a very disappointing experience. Im going to fry to be concise. I had a 6:45p reservation here. By 7:09p, I had still not been greeted or even given water. There was a woman cleaning off the area beside me and I asked her if she could find my server. He came over and said how are you doing, I said I've been waiting over 20 minutes so not that good. He said “oh sorry, I thought you just sat over from the bar” and I said no I was sat by the hostess and she gave me a menu etc.”. I finally got my water by 7:13p and things sped up from there. The food wasn't terrible but not great either. Fast forward to a few women who sat beside me who actually came from the bar area. The same waiter comes over and says to them “were you all sat by the hostess” they said “yes” (which was a lie) and he says “well normally the hostess gives you menus when you're sat with them” and so they essentially apologize for not being truthful and he looks to see if those seats were reserved to see if they can remain there. So my issue is, this waiter saw me sitting for over 20 minutes WITH A MENU and choose to ignore me, because he was serving the people beside me a few tables behind me. Instead of apologizing for dropping the ball, he lied to me saying he thought I came over from the bar, when I clearly had menus in front of me that I was looking at. That really felt like a slap in the face at the moment because I just wanted to enjoy my birthday dinner out and he didn't even take accountability but ignoring me. Other than that, the views are beautiful, the rooftop is beautiful. The hostess was super sweet.

A great place to start or end the night in downtown Napa. The atmosphere is very exciting and fun with the live music that they have there. The drinks are spot on, and they do not skimp on the alcohol. They have a big menu of local wines, some draft beers, and plenty of cocktail options. Treat the place like a tapas restaurant because that's what the food menu is set like. So expect small plates of appetizers but do also know that there are bigger dishes if you would like to eat dinner there. The dining area is very spacious, and if it gets cold, they do have heaters above the tables. There are also firepits on the other side of the rooftop, but they only provide drink service. Do be aware that you do not have to be a hotel guest to eat here; it is open to the public. Overall, it is a very fun place to take friends, a date, or go by yourself to meet people.Parking: Downtown Napa can be hard to find parking in, but the hotel that this bar is located in does have a valet, and there is a free parking lot just a block away.Kid-friendliness: Not the place to take kids.

We got the breakfast sandwich with loaded tots and the chicken waffles. Those loaded tots are next level, must get! The chicken and waffles were also delicious. We went on a rainy day and they had heaters but they were blasting the heat, they could have lowered them a little and would have been more enjoyable. Views were still stunning. Overall, I would definitely return!

I wanted to like this place so much! When reading about it on The Archer's website, it said reservation only, and that definitely wasn't the case, people were walking in. This was frustrating because reservation required a credit card. Based on reviews and the exclusivity in the descriptions, I had high hopes. But the vibe was OK, the service was very kind but not as professional as I had expected and the food was OK, your average bar food and nothing more.

We checked in twice. They began seating everyone but seemed to only have two waiters. It took about 45 minutes before we were acknowledged. We ordered everything at that time and the dishes came out slowly and randomly. 4 out of 6 of us had our meals and the other two had to wait for an additional 20 minutes before theirs arrived. It just seemed like most of the staff did not care. I did like our waiter he was nice and friendly. The food was good and the view spectacular.
Celebrated Valentine’s Day early with my fiancé and watched the Superbowl there it was our first time trying out this spot and we loved it ! Shane our server was awesome! The host was very hospitable, the view was amazing !

Favorite spot in all of downtown Napa! It was so comfortable sitting by the fire with a bottle of wine, enjoying wings and the margarita pizza! We clearly picked a good choice staying at the Archer Hotel because we were able to just go right back down to our room. I will definitely be back!

I didn't appreciate that they had premade drinks I.e margaritas - my experience has been negative for premade drinks so opted to get wine . My husband got " monkey shoulder" and said it wasn't good - we left after two drinks .
Service from host was poor at best. Waited 10 min at the host stand without anyone coming to greet us. Another couple left after a few minutes. Finally someone from the wait staff walked up and began to make a call on the phone, still no acknowledgment to any of the guests. My wife walked over to the ledge while we continued to wait just to see a group of employees hanging out near the fire pit area. At that point someone in the group finally told the host we had people waiting. Mind you, we had reservations so..
Top notch , friendly customer service from each and every employee . Very good bar and grill style food . My burger was not cooked enough for me and they took care of it right away. We could hear the servers thanking one another for helping a customer , cleaning up a table . Full of positive energy and the rooftop breeze and temperature were so relaxing!
