Been here a few times and really wanted to love this place but every time I come, I'm reminded why I don't. It's honestly ok. For the name to be Birria, lm always expecting out of this world, fatty, flavorful, hearty birria. But it's not. It's basic, the consome is disappointing. It's watery, more like a soup. It was like dipping our slices in water. Consome should be coating, fatty, and flavorful. The meat itself didn't have flavor, very bland. I've had the ramen before too and that was ok, not worth the price. The only plus I can say is, it's a generous portion and the price for the pizza was only $23 and some change. I loved all the extras. So I did appreciate that. My kids loved the pizza itself but only because the concept was cool. Homemade birria is really where it's at.

This was my 2nd time coming into Birria Kings. My first visit I got their birria ramen on special. It was sooo bomb, solid 9/10 for flavor, price, presentation, and speediness. I walked in to order to go and was in and out in less than 10min. Today I went in for a second time craving birria fries. I love a regular carne asada fry from a local taco shop, so I was excited to try it with birria! I was honestly super disappointed. Birria lacked flavor and there was no juiciness to it. The fries were pretty lack luster. Like a McDonald's fry with no salt and cold. I got guacamole added and it wasn't flavorful at all. Cheese was melted and tasted as expected. The portion was the most disappointing. The whole thing came out to be a little under $20. Any local taco shop would load you up with carne asada fries and all the extras (guac, sour cream, lettuce, red/green salsa, tomatoes, shredded cheese, onions etc.) and it would probably be under $15. I guess I was just expecting more from their birria fries. I wouldn't get them again.

Horrible experience today with the Crepa vendor outside of Birria Kings. As a loyal customers to Birria Kings my wife and I finally got the chance to try to support the crepa vendor that sells outside of the establishment during the evening. As a local business owner I despise mediocre businesses that only see their services as an opportunity to get rich at the expense of their customers. Of course, money is a plus, but we need to focus on providing excellent customer service to the people that allow us to be in business. My wife and I got there and were really excited to support a local small business until we noticed the mediocre customer service they provide. There was a group of elder men standing in line in front of us who were unaware of what the vendor was selling so they asked the little vendor boy "Que venden? Tacos?" The kid didn't acknowledge the men and out of no where a random guy comes up and says "Gallo!!!" While cutting in front of the group of men, my wife and myself. The vendor boy then reply's "gallo!!" (Gallo = rooster -- a term men use in Mexico to salute one another out of respect). They had a small conversation while the group of guys who were in line (still confused) awaited an answer from the little vendor boy. Not once did the vendor boy acknowledge the group of men nor answer their questions. So they left. My wife then looked at me and said "wtf???". I told my wife "let's just get our crepas and leave." I walk up to the vendor boy and didn't get greeted at all. No acknowledgment. I tried to make a joke about his hat that said "we don't sell drugs" in Spanish. What I told him was "You don't sell drugs? That's what I came for!" And he just looks at me and says "naaaah". At this moment I knew this kid was one of those people who get a small opportunity and immediately start treating others like trash. I gave him the benefit of the doubt.... noticed he was cutting some strawberries so I didn't bother him.. a few minutes went by and he never looked up at us nor did he ask us if we were ready to order. I asked if he accepted Apple Pay and he said "only cash app and cash" in a very condescending way almost like he was bothered by our presence and questions. At this point my wife was in shock and told me "f*** this guy, why even support them." So we left. The fact that the boy was wearing a "Birria Kings" shirt makes me not want to buy anything from them either.

Everything we ordered was delicious took a Birria pizza to go along with Birria Ramen, and six of their Birria queda tacos. Service was good and the vibe and the restaurant was great. Everything was clean and they gave us a ton of sauces. Their Jamaica was perfect not too sweet. And they carry all of the Mexican soda varieties 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. Looking forward to going back soon.

Review for food only, delivery, not dine in.Legit food, been ordering for a couple of years. Always consistent, and with so many options in Chula Vista area Birria Kings really stands out. Love the barria ramen --- with a keto taco side car to add on to it!Always well packaged and never spills for delivery! Will continue keeping them on rotation for delivery food!

becareful with this place. VERRRRY CAREFUL.. went to get food and get charged a certain amount and the next day there is 2 charges on my bank account. 2 whole separate charges. i have 1 receipt for 1 charge. i go to the store and talk to the manager and the guy says, “i can’t give you any $ back cus this has nothing to do with us”.. riiight.. i wasn’t born yesterday.. not one person in that store wanted to make an effort. at all. left me speechless. and i never wanted to come here to begin with. i was getting food for my step daughter.. i read the reviews and i live real close and there was a reason why i never came or wanted to come here. now, i know why.. please be careful coming here.. just pay cash so there’s no confusion.. hopefully they can count.

Went there for the first time ordered for pickup food was good but noticed next day was charged double for different amounts. Went in spoke to girl at register who called "manager" was very rude and didn't seem to care to help or refund me . Definitely will have to go to a different place next time and pay in cash!

The food is good! My first time there... trying something different... had to wait a bit, but that's ok after we got our food we were not disappointed... flavorful and tasty.... Authentic taste... wakes up the tastebuds we did see a lot of folks coming in and picking up... that's the key to not waiting... dining in we waited a few minutes to get our order... all good tho...

First time trying it out. Been seeing their specials Monday thru Thursday and those are some good specials. I tried the Wednesday special birria ramen for $8. Delicious. Good portion. And have to give a shout out to Naomi. She was super nice and pleasant. First time and sure won't be my last. Thank you Naomi.

Honestly not a bad "to go" place. I had the pizza birria and consume , the food is decent compared to other places but the consume was literally chilli flavored water. Prices are a bit high but im going to assume that the restaurant is charging more for the lack of costumers since it obviously spends to much on their costume tupperware instead of making the place better for people to come in. For example not blasting the music at the loudest possible in a small dinning area.
