Food was really good and they use real Products not no bottle syrup drinks my dad was happy it reminded him of mexico !! the service as-well and food was done really quickly also.

This was my first time at this restaurant. I was with a friend so it was a party of two. It is a small restaurant. Clean and airy. It has outside seating as well as inside. Staff were very cheery and greeted us when we walked in. If eating there, sit down at an open table, and they will come and take your order. For take out order at the counter.We actually went for the Chili Reyano as a friend told us it was very good. We were just a little late as someone had gotten there earlier and bought them out for the day. We will be going back again to get it.I had 5 rolled tacos with shredded pork. They were very good and fresh. (I had to order guacamole separate.) My friend had a carnitos barrito and really liked it. Neither items came with any sides (beans and rice), but the servings were so big they were not needed. Both of us ended up taking part of it home.I really enjoyed my visit and recommend it. I will be going back.

The tacos were delicious. Being it was my first time they give you a sample taco to try the meat and that was so flavorful. I ordered the lb of carnitas To wash our food down I ordered a horchata I wasn't impressed with my drink but not the end of the world. The meat was so good I could not stop eating lol I felt like that little piggy on the wall haha jk but for real the tacos were so good. If you like carnitas I say give it a shot.

What a delicious spot I stumbled in National City for lunch yesterday! The carnitas here are amazing and some of the best I've had. The smell when you walk in is incredible coming from the kitchen and they make everything for you at the counter. The staff here were friendly and quick when I ate here. I got horchata for my drink and it was so good and rich. One of the best I've had and they seemingly make it fresh every day. The same goes for their food and their tacos here are packed with meat and is about 2 of your regular street-style tacos. The salsas here are hot and are flavorful. The carnitas here stand out a lot for me and are so flavorful and they are not dry at all and get an easy 5/5 for me. The birria taco I had was also good with plenty of flavor coming from the consome they were in and get a 4/5 from me. This will be a go to spot for me in future when I'm back in the area and highly recommend coming here if you want some of the best carnitas in the San Diego area!

Wish I had pics to share but my hunger would not allow it and by the time I remembered to take pics it was too late LOL so therefore you will get all the details! I ordered one pound of carnitas (surtido) which means you get different cuts of carnitas including Buche (stomach), Cueritos (skin), Maciza (lean meat), and I think they might have added costilla (rib) but don't quote me on that. If you aren't that adventurous with your carnitas I'd recommend you just get Maciza. The order of carnitas comes with a small side of rice and beans that could be shared with one other person but if you are a heavy eater you might want to get an additional side of rice an beans. I loved that their beans were frijoles Puerco which means they add chorizo to them along with sausage. I also ordered a side of guacamole that was generously served, a bag of tortilla chips, and an agua de Jamaica that was very refreshing. My total was $36 which I think was very reasonable. The inside of the restaurant was nice and very clean. The cashier was extremely nice. Would I come again? Definitely. Everything was a 10/10. Go check them out! You can thank me laters.

The Menudo can't wait for them to make sauce in oilWell, when it cools down, it no longer tastes good, it becomes greasy.

I've been to Quiroga and I must admit that these carnitas are the closest I've tasted to those in Quiroga , Michoacán .... Carnitas here aren't salty nor just a bunch of fat ... perfect in every way . If you are looking for something good and don't want to wait in line for 30 minutes for tacos , come here ! Riquísimo.

First of all as a San Diego native, I'm a snob when it comes to authentic Mexican food. While I normally don't get to eat quality carnitas on a regular basis, that's now about to change. The flavors and the seasoning in the Chilaquiles plate blew me away from the first bite. I haven't had Mexican food this flavorful in years and I've eaten EVERYWHERE. Even the service was personal - the owner took time out to check in with us and it turns out she's a native to Michoacán (famous for their carnitas). I'm really surprised more foodies don't know about this place. It probably has something to do with their signage. Highly recommend .
