Overall enjoyable experience. Food was pretty good as I had udon soup with tempura but received wrong order for my wife. Good news was they comped the wrong order that worked out great because she filled up on some of my tempura and edamame appetizers.

Goodys Sushi is by far one of the best spots in SD, sadly this location is no longer Goody's but some new spot that is ok, but definitely not the Goody's we are used to... based on their website they will hopefully be reopening in a new location soon. The family atmosphere and fresh sushi is one that we look forward to. I hope they open a new location in the vicinity soon, we miss you!

Yummy yummy. Good quality for the price. Guy who took order over the phone was kinda rude but whatever. Parking is just terrible here of course they have an in n out and chick fila right next to this place so it's a pain to get in and out the parking lot.

Our kids asked to go out for sushi to celebrate the end of the school year, so we decided to try a new spot. We regret not going to our usual spot, because the service was poor & the food was not fresh here at Goody's Sushi. All of our rolls were mushy & were hard to swallow. I have never felt sick after eating sushi until now. I give it two stars, because the restaurant & restrooms were clean.

Such an amazing resturant! Me and my husband went here on so many of our early dates as a couple, it was our "spot" as you could call it. Staff is so friendly and even remembered us after coming back so many times. You can beat the service and quality of the food, I honestly don't know a better place in SD.

I've been going to Goody's with my parents since I was a young teenager. They have great food, beautiful ambience, and friendly staff. Recently went again for the first time in two years, and it was better than I remember. Highly recommend!

The food is good but its too expensive compared to other sushi spots. They charge what you'd expect at a very high-end sushi restaurant overlooking a view, never mind this is located in a strip mall.
