Ordered the Hawaiian Cubano. Their take on the Cuban sandwhich. Except theirs has kalua pork. Came with a side of Mac salad. Onolicious.

Went with wife and 2 kids, food was AMAZING! Only down thing is there really nowhere to sit. Just 4 bar stools. But other than that, this food is really good. Just order and take to go. Order the Korean chicken and fried misubi!

No hours of operation on the window yelp says they're open they are closed. I don't know if they're closed forever. Plaza Boulevard location you just lost $20 + because we couldn't buy food from you. Too bad for you

This is a cute little restaurant located in a strip mall with Tita's Kitchen. Parking is tight at peak times, but you can always park at the side of the mall and it's not a far walk at all. The decor and music is bright as well as hawaiian themed of course. The portions are generous and the food is quite tasty. This day I had the Kahlua pork, and my friend had the Island style Chili Moco loco and Lava Chicken. We liked everything, but kept going back to the Chili. They are quite proud of their recipe, as they should be.Between the two of us, it looked like we didn't even make a dent in our food! haha. Plenty of leftovers for the fam. We also shared a shaved ice, which was the perfect dessert to finish off the meal. It's worth the trip, come give them a try.

The Korean chicken has zero flavor, kalbi tasted like it has been out of the fridge for a while and the only thing I like was the Mac salad. The teri beef was full of fat strings, even the rice tasted cheap. Sorry, I won't recomend this place.

I love Homestyle Hawaiian!! But the new one that opened in National City ?? the only reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I love the ilikoi strawberry lemonade. The food was bland and sloppy looking and the music was mariachi music....ugh it's a Hawaiian restaurant ???...I would much rather go to Kearny Mesa location....national city location sucks

This is the 3rd time I went during hours of operation and they are closed. They only accept cash and no card. The one time I could place an order they were out of Korean Chicken. This location makes a bad name for home style Hawaiian and should be permanently closed. The food is good but everything else is an issue. To be closed on a Wednesday at 3:00pm-5:00pm is unacceptable. Home style Hawaiian makes great food but this place is the nail in the coffin. Today they completely lost my business

Food's good... but watch their prices. Been a loyal customer for a while, but noticed what I was paying was much higher than what's on their menu. Sad they are ripping people off that way.
