The service was excellent but the food I was a bit disappointed. The grilled fish tacos had a strip of fish the size of a pinky! Rice and beans where very cold! The jalapeño coleslaw was pretty good. Crispy chicken sandwich was also very good.

For breakfast, lunch or dinner food and service is always good.
Honestly, this place was so amazing before. Now, it seems like they spiked up their prices, cut their portions and they let go of all their waiters and replaced them with "self seating/self ordering" like at Panera. I lost a lot of respect for this company. We used to come here simply because the waiters were amazing and the food was great, but now it just doesn't have personality anymore.

LOVE this place! Taco Tuesdays are great and the tacos are really good. I took a star bc i asked if i could hang up a flyer on their bulletin board, they said yes, then tore it down. If you didn’t want me to just say so, but don’t tear it down after giving permission; i have to pay to have those printed.

Wow! We've been wanting to stop here for a couple years now and finally made it happen. Enjoyed the Kimball Asada Fries, the Kimball Fajita and the Alfredo Penne with chicken and broccoli. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be going back.

I'm here at least 5 days a week. Despite the diversity, the food is amazing. The environment is hard to beat, everyone who works here is friendly and personable. Recommend to all of my friends and coworkers.
Kimball is a nice clean bar restaurant with lots of room indoors and out...my band plays there once in a while and the crowd is always good ready to dance and party...it's located very close to the Pacific coast and a wetland area just south of the bar provide beautiful views and scenes for breaks in the action...the help has been very nice and helpful (haha)...lots of parking and right off the Freeway makes Kimball a great choice of destination for the night...there is a hotel across the parking lot if for some reason you don't want to drive home...

The food is delicious (recommend the fried fish tacos, cali burger, chicken sandwich, and sweet potato fries). The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is clean and upbeat with a side of class. Highly recommend if you want to have a nice night! The bar top is my personal favorite place to sit. Staff is very friendly and will probably remember your name when you come back. Solid people, solid food, solid experience.

I recently attended a high school reunion at Kimball Coastal Eatery, and it was a night to remember.First and foremost, the drinks were strong and well-made, which is always a great start to any gathering. The event was catered, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. It's not always easy to maintain quality when serving a large group, but they nailed it.The live band they had playing added a fantastic touch to the evening. The music was amazing, and it created the perfect ambiance for our reunion. We danced and enjoyed the tunes all night.Overall, it was a good time, and I left with wonderful memories of the evening at Kimball Coastal Eatery. If you're looking for a place to host an event or simply enjoy great food and live music, this is a solid choice.

Bellied up to the bar @ Kimball Coastal Eatery for some grub/grog last night and enjoyed a bounty of food, drink & professional service. Chicken tenders, Caesar salads, Asado tacos, cole slaw, beans and a plump quesadilla were fresh, tasty, & ample. The crafted Cadillac Margarita was a real drink that any barfly would appreciate. Brews came fast and were icy cold. A lively band fueled an energetic Halloween masquerade party that filled the space with a sick beat & happy vibe. The staff handled their duties during a nonstop busy shift with grace and style. Friendly and welcoming, the service caused all patrons to feel like VIP's. Plenty of easy parking, right off Freeway 5.........must stop for any visitors headed down to the South Bay.Stoner Grub Rating: 8.5

I contacted the Kimball about having an outdoor gathering for our Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) ministry. We picked a Saturday afternoon out on the patio and had a wonderful time. Manager Bobby was more than gracious with his availability and helping us decide the menu. The pizza and salad was custom made, delicious, and affordable. The staff who assisted that day (Tonia, Christina,Andrew) went above and beyond to make the time memorable and a true blessing. When we have another group event, we will definitely be booking our event with Bobby and his Kimball staff.
