Did the hour drive from North county on a Friday afternoon (also called 40 mins prior to ask if they were still serving, as I saw sign on IG stating "until sold out" ) Def. Happy I tried this spot. Their pho is reminiscent of the Filipino "Nilaga" - like a pho-nilaga hybrid and with the chili oil, it hit all the right spot The owner's hospitality was second to none; felt very welcomed and appreciated as a new patron. Can't wait to bring my family to try this spot. Sending this business all the positive and blessed vibes so they thrive and continue to grow!

My friend recommended this place and out of all the Pho place I’ve been I can confidently say this is one of the best. Try their house special the meat literally falls off the bone and it’s really good.

Talk about good customer service and very good food!We were lucky enough to get the taste of their AMAZING pho! Apparently they usually sold out 2 hours after opening. That says a lot about their food! They gave us free Cocosugarcane (idk if that’s right) it’s coconut juice with sugarcane, and that one is soooo good! It really made me smile. Oh their pho? Look at the video and that will tell you how tender the meat is. The soup of their pho is like a hug to your soul! It’s not too salty and you can taste the sweetness of the meat. THE BEST PHO!!!

Food is just okay! Fresh veggies and yummy pho! I really don't like much their drinks, i was expecting it to be really good. but in the bright side. clean resto and super nice customer service from the owner! Very respectful and attentive!

I'm sure someone has said this already, but Phonomenal was PHENOMENAL!!! I know this place gets packed, but came at the right time before the Friday night dinner rush. No need for a menu either!!! Even though it only has a couple things LOL. That's all it needs. Just get the pho & some spring rolls!!! Add some Cococane (refreshing sugar cane mixed with coconut juice drink!) to wash it down with and you can thank me later !!! As for the pho itself, it was made to perfection!!! Along with the delicious broth, it comes with 3 HUGE beef ribs. The meat was so tender and just falling off the bone . Never had pho like it!!! The spring rolls were stuffed and tasty. Everything about Phonomenal was great!!! We came at the right time so inside the restaurant seemed spacious, but I'm sure it can feel packed during busy times, but it's well worth it. As for our server, who we found out was also part owner during our convo, Sam was great!!! Even gave my daughter an apple off their blessing tray from the front counter. He definitely went above & beyond. Really appreciate that!! Not to mention the beer & another Cococane, that was on the house!! Will definitely be back for the great food & hospitality!!!

This is life changing pho place, very limited menu, when I say limited,literally 3 items in the menu! But oh boy, the pho is crazy good! met the brothers who owns the spot Sammy and Sinatra! both amazing guys! The coco cane drink brings me back home where I grew up chewing "tubo" in Tagalog. I was here around 10:45 and they are already busy. If you're going to try them come early because they close early when they sold out. Amazing!

GREAT MEAL! Love how they focus on one item and make it amazing. The meat was fall off the bone and so tender! Definitely more than enough to fill you up! Service was exactly what you want. Sam was extremely friendly from the minute you walk in until you leave. The Co-cane was also a delicious way to wash down the meal.
Sam was the man! Great service, amazing food. Unfortunately I ate too quick to take a picture because it was so delicious. Will be coming back very soon.

Food and service was amazing. Menu was simple and easy. Walking in, you can smell the scent of the broth wafting around immediately intoxicating your tastebuds for what is to come. The wait during lunch time is to be expected as there are only about 8 tables and what looked like a 2 person staff up front. It was worth it. I couldn't have been more impressed by this pho. It reminded of the pho-like soup(kathiew) my Khmer friend's mother in Long Beach would make us on the weekends. Rarely does food send me into high school flashbacks so I commend you guys for this. Thank you for my ratatouille moment. Another honorable mention is the spring roll, freakin huge! I love that. Top it off with some sugar cane juice and you are set. Easily one of the best kept secret gems in national city. Cheers!

Got the Pho with the rib. The broth was good, the meat was super tender. Quite tasty. Also, tried the 'Cococane.' It was different. Of course, as suspected it was sweet. Not something I would want every time, but I would order again. The ambiance was casual. The staff was very friendly, nice, and cheerful. Parking is a scarce. Street parking and a couple of spots in a parking lot nearby.

If you guys are looking for a good PHO.. better try this place in National City it's called Phonomenal... Their Pho is incredible delicious.. the meat just falls off from the bones..it's mouth watering . Customer Service is excellent and they are only open until they run out... most of the time they could only open for 2 hours cost they are already sold out... The Pho and their Spring roll is delicious... The broth of that soup is magnificent Definitely recommend it and will go back again...
