This is a casual dine in, the fish was fresh and tasted really good, it’s a big portion for what you pay and they have a large selection of beverages from different parts of the world so it’s interesting!I recommend the California

Super happy I found this place. The inside is very cute. Very Hawaiian forward. The poke is fresh and their flavors are very strong. They also give you a good amount which I really like.

Actual local-Hawaiian food can be pretty hard to find in SoCal, so this place is nothing short of a godsend. Laulau and all the various kinds of real poke! So happy to have found this place. The pork tonkatsu was a little salty for my taste, but no matter, I will be back to eat more of the other great things offered here.

Delicious and fresh! They're not necessarily the typical poke bowl one would recieve. They have choices of poke already pre-mixed, so you pick your entrées with double rice or rice and seaweed I believe the option was? I did double rice and was happy with my decision. The spicy mayo salmon was tasty. As well as the garlic. I was told the kimchi was delicious too. The seaweed side I picked from the fridge was a little too sweet for my liking, but was still a pleasant side to eat. There's small and larger portions available. There was a large selection of bottled and canned drinks located in refrigerators in the line. There was also a small heated case for bottled green tea and canned coffee.Very friendly service and staff! And they have a good amount of seating.Only downside is the parking suuuucks! Very busy plaza! Cars in and out causing awkward street congestion. The liquor store owner was standing outside in front, directing traffic in and out of the stores designated spaces. If you weren't going to the liquor store, you weren't parking there lmao!Parking: Not many spaces and it may take a while to get one. Will more than likely wait to get into the parking lot sometimes

I've been a regular of this poke place for years. I'm extremely picky about sushi in general and especially poke. As a person who lived on Oahu, this place is the real deal. Authentic Hawaiian poke. Excellent quality! Keep this small family business in business at all costs!

This review is long overdue. If you're expecting poke where you throw on all kinds of sides and sauces, then just know this ain't it. With that out the way, this is my favorite poke and Hawaiian restaurant in S.D. I started working in the area a few months back, and this is the place I grab lunch from the most. Love their traditional style Hawaiian poke and spam musubi. I've had other Hawaiian lunch plates here, and I was happy with them all. The portions are good sized to where I find myself splitting a meal into two.It can get busy during lunch, but I've never had a difficult time finding parking or a table if I chose to dine in. They sell other Hawaiian and Filipino goods there as well. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile, and service is fast and great. Salamat for the good food and see you next time.

The poki dish was delicious, with options to the type of sauce you want the meat (fish) mix with. They do have other kind of protein available, but the main source of protein they focus on is the fish, just one type, that's their specialty.Vegetarian options: Although it is possible that they have some vegetarian options, I had poki dishes, which consists of fish.Parking: Small location, with limited parking. Parking in the street is another option.
