For so many people that take the Blue Line Trolley on a daily basis there are many stations that have their own snack and mini stores you can get most some things and there are others you may have to walk a block to get to the store many parts of the Downtown area with the Convention Center and the Gaslamp Trolley Center. There is one station that is in the National City where you can have tables to sit and have the cold soda or the Ice cream for the hot weather. National City 24th street Transit center has the many things you can have been able to catch the bus if you need to get over to the Plaza Bonita Shopping mall you have the many snacks centers that service many of the malls with the E street Trolley Center. With the many buses that come to the 24th Street Transit you have the snack center Deli which is open for the days and closes by the hours of the 600pm and on the weekends they do close by the hours of 500pm. With the many snacks and the drinks, they have with many specials they have you can get Monsters for 2 for $5.50 and the many other sodas like Cola Products that you can get two for $3.00. Where can you find Danish? There are many times you want things you can get and catch the bus at the 24th street Trolley Center. The Trolley Side Deli is one of the best to have the coldest drinks and to pick up some of the best snacks you can get if you need hot sandwiches, they have some of the best if you need a warmup, they can help you out and getting you ready off to the bus or the Trolley. The Side Car Deli does accept EBT and Debit cards the early mornings and the evenings can be busy with the Side Car Deli they have the many things fresh goods and some of the best coffee and the Little Debbie Snacks you can find the many snacks and drinks at the Side Car Deli. With the many bus drivers that come and get things to eat many drivers only have so much time for the break the Side Car Deli has been there to help. Owners of the store are the most welcoming with the many times I have come there it has been the best times with the many products. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer with the many places that I have visited there have been many that have been around since the 1970s and the 80s yet there have been many that still. have the best service and the snacks that you remember when you were a teenager. The Side Car Deli has all the traits and the special flare with the many snacks from the cokes to the Chips with the great welcome to the many that come and shop there. One star is all this store gets. I work really close by and have been buying small snack items and my lottery tickets there quite frequently. Recently (8/25/2023) about noon time I went in and purchased 3 quick picks of POWERBALL, costing $6.00; A five dollar and a dollar bill, as I started to leave the store person name "Robby" questioned the condition of the "five dollar bill" as it was not in the best condition but still has the ability to spend. He was wanting another "five dollar bill" to replace what I had already given him and that I did not have "another five dollar bill" to replace and told him that it still spends the same. The following Monday, (8/28/2023), I go in as usual to purchase lottery tickets .... as I was giving "Robby" the money, he stated that "his cousin said that you are banned from the store because of my "attitude" and because I did not give him another 5 dollar bill to replace the one he did not like which I thinks is petty and ridiculous! I am there as a customer supporting the existence of this store! And I also requested to communicate with his "cousin" to clear up the situation , and as for him, he did not have the BALLS to attempt to call his cousin "saying he won't come here".... Now, going back to the "attitude" issue I can honestly state in all my visits to this small little store, I have also witnessed numerous times the unprofessionalism of the counterperson "Robby" when dealing with customers. He assumes he is a "funny" guy by making (in his mind innocent) but lewd derogative, rude and (perverted) comments to the customers. Overall, if he is an employee of the owner, this guy needs some serious training in customer service and should be let go (as an employee) until he gets it.

I really don't go to the store that much but I do you like about it has a lot of snacks and drinks and munchies lots of munchies I got maybe so it is diet drinks cheese chips cookies baked goodies ice cream anything you possibly would want to munch on and the service is quite excellent it's right next to the 24th the trolley station so if you get hungry just walk in there and get yourself a snack or something to eat or drink and they also have sandwiches

One star for the vast variety of snacks from Mexico. But one star is all this place gets. We went in this afternoon and were appalled by the disgusting way the store clerk behaved! He had an audience (one guy with him behind the counter) so maybe was "showing off", but it impressed nobody with a sense of social skills. In fact, one customer left after she heard some of the things he was saying. Lewd comments. Acting like a pervert. He kept saying things that were obviously meant to be disrespectful, and this to two paying customers! (Look at the "thick girls"... etc... - we are both size 6-8 btw, but still! Then some comment about being in bed all NewYears and were we?!) Heinous behavior from this guy. We will NOT return. *description of rude guy: short. Little bitty guy with a foreign accent and half open eyes...
