Complete meltdown today by a donut shop "manager". Today I went into this Yum Yum where I frequently go, and I ordered a hot tea and a donut so I could sit down and do my paperwork. Right after getting it, I asked to see the manager about a hellaciously loud equipment noise. This woman, maybe about age 30, made it clear she didn't care about the noise and seemed very bent out of shape about my question. So I sat back down and worked despite the noise. A while later, she came over and told me she wanted me to leave. (There were no other customers in the store and at least six vacant tables.) I asked why. She said because it is HER store and she wanted me to leave. (It's not...the owner is a guy named Bryan.) I advised her I would be leaving in about 30-45 minutes when I finished my tea, my donut and the work I came to do. She stated if I didn't leave immediately she'd call the police "and have them ESCORT you out!" I said that would be fine, and read her their non-emergency dispatch number. At this point she let out a crazy shriek and screamed "I don't need you to tell me their number!" I continued working. I heard her on the phone with the police stating that she was the owner of the store (false) and that I had been there all day (my receipt says 10:23 am). So she gave them my physical description and hung up. I continued to work. About 5 minutes after that she approached me again and said, "You better leave now. Otherwise, would you prefer the mace or the taser, because I have both?" Not withstanding this, I kept working. About 10 minutes after that, I had finished my work but the police had not yet arrived. I packed up my papers and left. This woman followed me an entire block down the street screaming, and threw trash at me while I was waiting to cross the intersection. This psycho is a police problem.

Employee was really nice :) wide variety of donuts, open 24 hours. Fast service. Clean establishment. They have seating inside and it looks like electricity if someone wanted to work and drink their coffee with a donut. Would come back again

Ms. Rita was a wonderful ray of sunshine and helped us at 2am. We wanted some snacks after a fun night going bar hopping and she was wonderful! She was so kind and offered us flavors we were not aware of. She is the definition of excellent customer service.

Unfortunately my experience has been bad so far as of lately The lady that's in the early morning shift around 5 AM. Whenever I order something to make, for example, a bagel, she starts working on it, but as soon as customers come in, she leaves what she's doing as she goes attends customer instead of focusing on finishing my order. It's been twice that I wait for more than 30 minutes. Waiting for my bagels to be done and also with the same gloves that she's preparing my order, she grabs money of the customers. I'm just really upset I usually never say anything in person, but maybe if the owner could talk to her and explain that when she does an order, she has to focus on finishing that order first and not ggrabbing money and touching food. Mind you, she's very sweet and everything. But its just that issue, she doesn't focus on finishing one thing when she's already helping customers..

Ms.Rita helped us at 2am right after we had fun at downtown. She had excellent service and welcomed us with a wonderful atmosphere. She offered us a plentiful of options and gave us really great flavors that we were not aware of. She is a queen!

The servers are very nice and are good communicators. Rita in particular makes the place feel like home, and she's an excellent baker. Whoever is running the place has chosen their employees well. Stop by if you want an indulgence.
