My favorite poke place in the area! I love the choice to get unlimited toppings instead of having to pay for every single topping. I'm always satisfied with my food! Online order is also really easy and they always have my order ready for pick up. The service is friendly as well. I just wish they opened later than 7pm :( sometimes I'm unable to get there before they close

This poke spot was just ok, the fish was fresh but sauce I got which was the lemongrass ponzu didn't taste like much to me. I even got an extra drizzle on top. I am glad I asked for the wasabi mayo on the side! I did like all the options they had for toppings, and the portion sizes were fair.

After having poke in Hawaii, I'm definitely hooked on them! Thanks to my wife finding this place, we had a great late lunch! I would definitely come here again!

I came to Bayside Poke to get a Poké bowl. I have never had an issue there before and I probably order from there once a month. The gentleman spoke very little English and had a very thick accent. He had bleached blonde hair. He was very helpful customer service wise. Unfortunately, when I went home to eat my Poké bowl there was a huge black Plastic piece in my Poké bow (see the picture). I tried to call and speak to a manager. There was never one present. When I asked the blonde gentleman for his name, he would not give it to me, even though he just served me in person. It's very disappointing to find crazy stuff in your food when you've already eaten some of it. I wish they would take the time to serve fresh items and look through their food ordered . I can only assume that this came from the mixed greetings or rice that were added, since they are, the only thing added in abundance. Very disappointed.

The selection is amazing with fast and friendly service. The prices are great for what you get.

Just recently moved here and I knew I was going to miss my local Ahi Poki spot back in the SGV. I'm so glad I was able to find a replacement locally! The portions are fair and the price is UNBEATABLE. The rice and greens are always fresh and the employees are always friendly. One thing about poki spots is that they're ALWAYS WARM INISDE. Soon as you walk in it's stuffy and it's because the owner is trying to cut down costs on the a/c and keeping the fridges running to keep the ingredients fresh, but not this place!! This place feels cool as you walk in and very comfortable enough to sit down and have your meal. The spam mesubis are great too! I think they blanch them because they're not super salty even though they cook them with their own sauce! Anyways, I love this place and I will always frequent it. I've tried other poke spots in and around the city and nothing compares :-))

This is a lunch gem: the poke bowls were fresh, flavorful and put together with lots of care. We had the bayside and the vegetarian - both super yummy! Can't wait to go back!

We were in the area and my son insisted on grabbing Spam Musubi. This was not one of the first few options on my Yelp search, as the Hawaiian spots came up first with mediocre reviews. This place had better reviews and was only 4 minutes away from where we were, so it won. Anyhoo, walked into a very quiet establishment, clean and warm lighting from the sun. Cute framed photos of Japanese dishes decorated the walls and cute potted succulents decorated the window shelf. A bunch of kids came in shortly after us to clean out their Spam Musubi supply for the moment, so they must be good. My son confirms. Food was decent enough, but you can skip the spicy tuna concoction... it had a strange consistency. Their portions could've been bigger. Their scoopers could've been bigger, rather. Also a very important thing to note, they do not have chicken as a oriented option. The great thing this place has going for them is the lemongrass ponzu sauce. Delightful!

Portions are too small compared to other poke shop. Try the other poke shop to find the most generous potions for the same $. This one has the smallest for sure.

Great service and great food. The place itself was clean and the prep area was clean. It is not a big place. Has 7 tables plus 1 hightop table. The ambiance is very quiet.

My friend and I shared a large build your own for $14. The large comes with four scoops. We got salmon x 2, tuna, and yellowtail. All four were smaller cubes of fish. The yellowtail here...WOW. Some of the best yellowtail that I've had at a poke place. The salmon and tuna were pretty average. I felt like the rice ratio was a little high compared to the fish ratio based on other places that I've been to as well. Additionally, the onions here are diced not sliced, which felt overpowering for the bowl. They have a large topping selection which were all included minus avocado (which was $1 extra). Lastly, the sauces were pretty good--I'd recommend the house shoyu.

I didn't feel like sitting in traffic one day and I was craving poke. Did a quick search in the area and this place popped up. It had pretty good reviews and was on the way home so I decided to give it a shot. Upon walking in I was greeted by a nice young fellow who helped me with my order. I did the build your own bowl regular size which is three scoops of protein. I usually get all ahi tuna, but when I saw they had eel I was so excited. This was the first place that i've been to that serves eel as one of their protein choices. So I did one scoop of eel, and two ahi tuna. They were very decent sized scoops too. Some places skimp out. Then for the toppings they had all the usual toppings you'd see at a poke place. I got my usual, cucumber, onions, masago, mango, seaweed salad, and they throw on some crab salad on there for free. I forgot what I put for sauces, I know for sure I had unagi and spicy mayo, and I believe I had the house sauce too. I was very happy with my meal, nothing was left. Everything was fresh, and lot's of flavor. Was very happy with the eel. I thought my total was going to come out to way more because of the eel, but nope. It came out to how much I would usually pay for a poke bowl anywhere else. If you're ever in the Newark area..I would def recommend trying this place.

I ordered through Uber Eats and I didn't regret ordering the Bayside Poke with half salad and half brown rice. Everything was still fresh through delivery but I did regret ordering their spam musubi. It was not flavorful with the Furikake, so I had to add more salt on the rice. Overall the service was fast and nice.
