Spending the night and the restaurant offered a weekend prime rib special downstairs and we thought to give it a try. The salad was beautiful and included heirloom tomatoes which popped with flavor in my mouth. The prime rib had just enough but not too much marble. They included mashed potatoes and were willing to substitute carrots for the asparagus. A lovely presentation and plenty of food. I ended up taking 1/2 home with me. Dessert was a light cheese cake which was perfect after feasting on prime rib. Even the coffee exceeded expectations. All in all pleasantly surprised by the presentation and quality of the meal! To top it off, our server, Veronica, was attentive without being intruding. She took great care of us and went beyond what was her responsibility to make sure we had a great meal. The ambiance is okay, nothing too special, but then again we were in a hotel. All in all we were glad to have taken advantage of their weekend special. It was a great value and we left with the feeling that we would definitely come back when in the neighborhood.

Surprisingly enough, there's a reason why this restaurant has poor reviews. Stayed at this hotel for work and came down for breakfast. Luckily, they offer a 15 credit for food, probably cause even the hotel management know that their food isn't worth what they're charging. Highly recommend not ordering the eggs Benedict, as the eggs I received were not poached long enough at all and the underdone mess was hidden under the sauce. The only redeeming quality of this place is the staff. They are nice and attentive.

WE ASKED FOR A BREAD BEFORE DINNER AND THE SERVER LADY SAY'S SORRY WE DON'T HAVE ANYMORE. WE ASKED THE MAN SERVER AND HE BROUGHT US SOME. THEN WE ASKED THE LADY SERVER AGAIN AND SHE SAID THEY DON'T HAVE ANYMORE. I WONDER WHY IS THAT? i WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE HER TIP BUT MY GUEST SAUY'S GIVE HER AT LEAST $40. THAT WAS A MISTAKE I THINK. I WOULD STILL RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO MY FRIENDS BUT. I HOPE THE LADY SERVER DO THE RIGHT THING.

Wait service was pretty much non existent, the food is way too expensive and the portions are practically crumbs! The tables were not arranged well, too many people bumping into the back of my seat. Took at least an hour and a half after we were served to be asked if we are ok, or even bring our bill. Looked to me like the wait staff was only serving the big partys and pretty much ignoring us. I guess you gotta have bookoo bucks to actually enjoy this! Never gonna eat or hang out here again.

It’s a restaurant inside a hotel. The atmosphere is live and fun as there is live music and dance floor on Friday and Saturday nights. service is not acceptable.

The food was excellent and the service for the tables were good but there was still a lot of tables available. Just that you need at least longer than 2:00 pm especially for Mother's Day it is a special day and with a senior who can't get up so early to eat this day should be at least until 6:00 pm

Always a plus for me to have plenty of parking. The Bistro is located inside of the Doubletree Hotel. Luckily we made reservations ~ I've read some reviews that say not necessary to make reservations, but on this particular night, they were hosting an event for 100 people. Make reservations! We walked in the entrance to Bistro 880 was blocked off a little confusing how to get in, but we figured it out. The sign said wait to be seated and we waited and waited and waited the gal that finally approached us , a little short, not greeting us, just asked if we had reservations. I said yes she took us to our table. Said someone would be right with us. We waited 20 minutes before a waiter finally came our way. His name was Lupe, and he was very entertaining, which made the first part of arriving a bit more pleasant. We ordered our drinks and food, and that came in an acceptable time frame. We ordered the flatbread pizza very good the margarita and the all meat. The pork sliders not my favorite just chunk of pork served inside some type of bread? Wine was decent for the price. The best part was the band that was playing. They were absolutely fabulous. The security guards were very kind greeting us. Bathrooms are located in the Hotel lobby. Very clean. If not for the long wait times, and the initial greeting as we arrived to the venue I would have given them a four star rating.

We arrived, had a reservation, not needed as no one was there, and were seated. Waitress came about 10 minutes later said she was having bread brought to us (never arrived) and took our cocktail order. My husband ordered a Grey Goose martini straight up and when he got it he returned it as it was basically ice water with a splash of Goose. I didn't order a cocktail. Second one came. Wasn't much better. He got a third and it was ok. He wanted the roasted chicken, but she said wait was 40 minutes, he opted for pasta. I had the Sea Bass which was very good and we shared the brussel sprouts. Service was poor considering no one was there and we ended up walking to the front to pay our tab as the waitress didn't bring it to us. Not returning for $155 we will find a better place.

What a surprise to find this lovely little scene near home. Initially came as a friends' band was performing- was surprised by how great the restaurant service was. Food was quite tasty w generous portions as well. Especially loved the Brussels sprouts & French fries. Good to see folks out on the dance floor. Second time we returned to try prime rib special- a fantastic deal. Parking is ample. Corkage is $20 Dancing & live music is free!

My parents were visiting for my father's 79th birthday, and we had Veronica M as a server. Definitely the reason we will return. We ordered the prime rib special and she went over the top to accommodate each of our requests! The order brought out was missing something expected and she quickly made the correction and made it all perfect. We also didn't even mention to her it was my Dad's birthday but she picked up on that it was, and surprised us all with a birthday dessert for him!!! Veronica is what this town needs! Someone that cares about the people coming in. She made the dinner so special and memorable that she is the reason I will return to 880 Bistro. She deserves all the praises I can give! 10-Star Review!!!

Veronica M was a FANTASTIC server. We had some family visiting into town and she made the experience extra cozy with her exceptional service. We will be back again! Hope to see Veronica again!!

Wrong order was given. They took it back and gave me the right steak order later. Service was good. Food is okay. My group enjoyed the live music and the dance floor. It's a good place for drinks or get together party.

The atmosphere and ambience is excellent. Service and food is extremely disappointing. The minute I grabbed the utinsils, there was a long black hair on the towel :(It didn’t really start well and it got worse from there. The breakfast “buffet” is full of store bought muffins and yogurt soy milk and the like. We went down to eat breakfast. Coffee was not fresh. When I asked the server to bring me fresh coffee, she started arguing. She grabbed my mug and sent another person with the same coffee mug with fresh coffee in it.
