First time here for my wife's birthday. Good quality of food. Ingredients and meat are fresh. Clean and nice ambiance. Service is on par. Wish they have more cold drink selections than just soda. Ice Tea or other Asian can drinks will be good addition. Definitely would recommend people to try!

Food is always amazing! There are a lot of choices and it's always very clean. The customer service is always great! My friends and I enjoy going often.

It's disgusting to eat in this restaurant. Dogs can eat from utensils and eat on the table.

All-you-can-eat hotpot place. They have a variety of spicy broths, and a decent variety of meat. They have self-service for stuff like noodles, vegetables, tofu, spam, etc. Busy on weekends.

Service was good, food could be spicier, I will come again, it was not busy when I went,

This is the best new place for me to indulge in an all-you-can-eat experience! It's super fun and delicious. I visited to try this new spot, which boasts a fantastic ambiance with neon light signs, a self-serve sauce bar, and a fridge stocked with condiments, little snacks, and the delightful coconut pudding dessert. The selection, including canned soda, for the all-you-can-drink feature was fantastic. For the broth, I opted for a coconut-based soup and a spicy one. Nothing was too overpowering, and the coconut soup exuded a delightful fragrance. I enjoyed the aroma of all the soup bases. Regarding meat quality, you can add 10 bucks to upgrade to premium meat, but the basic selection is more than enough for me. The variety of self-serve vegetables and side dishes at the counter impressed me. I particularly loved the tofu skin and tofu wraps that absorbed the rich soup. The sauce bar was excellent, offering a wide range of options, and there's even a premade sauce if you want to try their specialty and be a bit lazy. Definitely a place I would come back to.

First time here at flaming house since they changed owner from Korean style grill to AYCE hot pot. Is a small cute store, they got the bright neon lights outside their store and you won't miss it outside. The highlight was the glass jar coconut pudding make me want to try it after reading reviews from other yelpers. Definitely love the fact that is so close to home and is AYCE hot pot. They have 2 price options, one is regular meat at 32.99 and the others level is including M9 grade Wagyu beef for 39.99 per person. The price including the unlimited sauce bar, soda, sides and coconut pudding. You got to choose broth, they have a large variety of broth options. We got the beef bone broth and spicy with butter broth( additional $5), both broth are so flavorful! The sides are self serve individual portioned in the fridge, love the veggie options including pea sprouts, mushrooms, taro and spinach! The best part is they have the homemade coconut pudding is so creamy, perfect for cleanser at the end of spicy hotpot. Will definitely be back.

I've been on a bit of a hot pot binge and my husband has been humoring me. After a really tough work week, we made a spontaneous treat yoself trip to Flaming House, which has been on my list for a while now. Rating Breakdown: 2/2 Stars for Taste -- They have a large selection of broths to choose from and you can choose 2 for no additional cost. My husband wanted to try the Korean bone broth and I opted for the pickled fish soup. The broth actually tasted like seolleongtang and it is Korean husband approved. We also really enjoyed the spicy tang of the fish broth, which helped cut the fat and really flavor our hot pot goodies. We have long decided that paying extra for Kobe or wagyu never really enhanced our hot pot experience so we just went with the normal menu. Our favorites were the sliced beef oyster? and the beef brisket. The brisket and Berkshire pork came in some of the largest slices we have ever seen. Very satisfying to swish and dip. 1/1 Stars for Customer Service -- They have efficiency down to a science. You order by scanning the QR code on your table. We never waited more than 3 minutes for our meat orders to arrive even though there was only one server bringing meat orders, collecting used dishes, and cleaning tables. Meat orders come in large servings, probably to reduce the number of times they have to bring you refills. Our favorite part was the fridge where you can help yourself to hot pot fixings rather than wait for the stupid conveyor belt (I'm lookin' at you, LEGEND). They also accept Yelp reservations and wait-list. There was no line for Friday dinner around 7pm. 0.5/1 Stars for Value -- The price is the same as most AYCE hot pots, $34 for regular and $40 to add Kobe options, but they don't have as many seafood options (limited to fish, shrimp, cuttlefish, and squid) and no roe filled fish balls. They did have my favorites -- quail eggs, duck blood, spam. They also had a good selection of veggies and noodles. They do not have rice. On the bright side, you get unlimited cans of sodas and unlimited coconut pudding which is identical if not better than Tong Sui. Just eat one each and that's $10 right there! Bonus star because this place feels homey and there's no crowds or wait. I don't mind missing out on a few options (I'm not a big seafood eater) as this place has everything that is important to me. My only wish was that I had a separate dessert stomach so I could eat more of that coconut pudding...

BLEW MY MIND! This is definitely a hidden gem in a quiet plaza. One of the top AYCE hot pot places in the east bay! Came into this restaurant not knowing what to expect since I remember this being a Korean restaurant a couple years back. Food: My party order the spicy beef tallow and coconut chicken soup base. Both very solid. My relative from Hunan said that the spicy broth "tastes just like China" so I know it's authentic. If you come here, definitely ask for the house sauce from the server because whatever concoction they mixed together pairs so well with all the fresh ingredients. Highlight is hands down the coconut pudding! It's SO GOOD! It's just as good as the Tong Sui puddings. Service: Just okay. The server is nice but if you need anything, you will need to flag her down. It's understandable since they only have one server and she looked super busy as she single-handedly took care front of the house. It would be great if they can hire an extra server to help her out. Environment: Nothing special, kind of basic decor but the food is really good. Chinese music playing in the background. Overall, I would definitely recommend this AYCE hotpot place. They will see me coming back and I will be slurping down a couple coconut puddings next time I'm here :)

The Korean beef bone soup is the best soup base I have ever eaten in the Bay Area and it is also very delicious. The pickled fish soup base is also very good. Will come

This was somewhat pricey as meals go, but it being all you can eat makes it much better for people concerned about being full after hot pot without paying a huge amount. I enjoyed mixing my sauces with ingredients like green onion and minced garlic. Picking out a few new things from the case to try without needing to get a set amount and paying for a thing I might not like was a good perk. Soft drinks and dessert, tasty coconut pudding, being included was another great upside. The spicy broth was good. I wasn't that impressed with the chicken coconut broth and I didn't really like the raw chicken that came with it. The other meats were fine, but some of the beef was somewhat chewy.

My friend had recommended this spot to me and it did not disappoint at all. The only thing I could add is to have one more server, it seemed like there was only one server working when we were there. When we entered, we didn't see any servers to sit us down, because the only server was in the kitchen. Despite that, the quality of the broth, meats, and toppings were so bomb. I don't often find new places to add to my list of favorites but this is definitely on there now. It seems like a hidden gem as I came on a Sunday dinner time and it wasn't too crowded at all. There's also a sauce bar with so many different sauces and toppings I've also never seen before. They also had Chinese donuts which I've never seen before at any hot pot place, so it was nice dipping that into my broth and eating it together. The star of the show for me was the COCONUT PUDDING. You would pay good money for that at Tong Sui, but here is all you can eat! I had myself 2 jars after finishing dinner and it was just sooooo bomb. The texture, sweetness, flavor, everything was just right about it. Definitely make room for dessert with this one as it's a nice palette cleanser. I really wanted to take more home with me. Will definitely be back for more!

The food was delicious! Best hot pot place in the area. The service was good. The server constantly checked on us if we needed anything. Very cozy and comfy place to eat. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because they did not have rice. I'm not sure if they ran out or they typically don't have rice.

I visited this place for once around half a year ago around July 2023, based on the recommendation of "xiaohongshu", but they never mentioned they are not allowing one person only. However for the second time when the seat id temporarily full, they refused me to join the waitlist, and insisted that I am the first time there and didn't know their rule, but finally they agreed saying when there are empty slots they can serve me, so it took me another 1.5 hours standing at their counter and waited, since it takes me over half an hour driving from South Bay, before they finally had people left with empty seats. At last after I finished dinner, I asked if they are still accepting 1 person if not busy like the time around 9pm, they changed their mind again saying no, so I suggested out of good will they should show something on their menu or at the door, but they still responded with rejectionI am not sure how long this store has been opened since the first time I've visited, and I understand people tend to maximize their benefits, however please don't alter your rules for treating customers without clear notice, not to mention that your food quality for 2-minimum AYCE of same price in East Bay is not really that remarkable

I came here specifically to eat it. The meat slices had been frozen for who knows how long and were too broken to be picked up. . . I haven’t eaten such bad meat in a long time??
