What's not to love about a true neighborhood ice cream parlor! I've been to Coaches a couple of times and have been very satisfied with the customer service and the quality of the ice cream. The variety is extensive and the portions are plentiful as well. I typically go for the banana walnut and pair it with something unique.I really like the sports themed vibe Coaches puts out there. It's done well enough to get a few smirks from me but doesn't bludgeon you cheesy sports tchotchkes. Glad to see Coaches doing so well that they expanded to Moorpark! Looking forward to checking out that location soon!

Super cute after game spot! The service is Friendly, although she seemed a bit overwhelmed. She was flying solo and it was super busy on a Saturday to be working alone.

The cutest local shop. Team members wear vintage jerseys and are so helpful!

I am feeling a bit nostalgic as I sit here. See it was about 40 short years ago when I used to come play what would be the start of the video game revolution at Casey's Arcade. I spent many an afternoon in my early teens socializing and spending all my quarters. Things have really changed here and the same building that occupied the first Baja Fresh in the country now has Coaches and a country harvest next door. Ok enough history. Me Baby Girl and NeekoI came out to coaches because there are only few dessert options for a city as large as TO. So to find a place uniquely dedicated to us lovers of life is very special. What stands out at Coahes they are trying to hit that old school vibe with hand made milk shakes and hand made cones. The ice cream being high-quality speaks of an age gone by. The cookie dough has huge chunks and is not skimping either. The sherbets are vibrant, the place is clean and Owen the ice cream artist was very friendly. Go and enjoy and when you do, imagine a time when kids used to hang out with eachother in groups and ignore eachother. Kind of like they do now. See We Gen X invented that.

Great selection, lots of dairy free options, and delicious flavors to chose from. But the thing that will keep me coming back is the staff. So friendly, really patient and extremely charming! They even helped my girlfriend find a gluten-free option by lifting up the barrel of ice cream and checking the ingredients. This is my new favorite place to get a sweet treat! I’ll be back soon :))

Ice cream is low quality and over priced. Ice cream consistency seems like it has been thawed and frozen multiple cycles. Customer service could use some improvement.

Our ice cream was freezer burnt, not sure where all the rave reviews are coming from. We had 2 different flavors and neither was good, pralines and cream, and cookies and cream. Ice cream is purchased from US Foods and not made in house. I could have gotten better ice cream from the grocery store. I won't be returning.

The greatest place in Newbury Park/TO! There's so many different ice cream selections it every time we go into the store everyone is so kind to my toddler who wants to sample the toppings! The ice cream is the best quality and so fresh! I love the mint flavor, the many choices and the old school parlor feel!

We haven't been able to find much good ice cream in Newbury Park but this place fills the bill! Both granddaughters love it, RRR's sweet tooth loves it, so this is going to be our go- to.
